I tried LifeStraw bottle AND filtering straw. My mouth hurt from sucking so hard to get water to flow. So I bought this Brita bottle. I LOVE IT! Many good features: - it's beautiful! I chose the teal green soothing color. Very subtle product label. - The cap is attached so you don't lose it. A little button pops it open. Cool! - Slim bottle %26 smaller filters are handy %26 easy to pack for travel. - Nice mouth piece is soft silicone, comfortable in mouth. - WATER FLOWS WELL ... don't have to suck hard to get a nice flow of clear, clean water. - 6 months of filters take up very little space. - Not a bad price. I'm done with LifeStraw products .... I highly recommend BRITA.

I can't stand to smell and drink chlorinated water so I use my Brita water bottle at work. I have a Brita pitcher for use at home. The last package of these replacement filters are barely too long for some reason but I can smash it into the tube and make it work. It's really hard to get it back out but that's what needle nose pliers are for lol Where there's a will ...

I love my Stainless Steel individual water bottle (which I purchased elsewhere). I carry it everywhere because these filters can filter out any clean water you would need. the filters are easy to install and use too.

didn't realize that I needed to replace the filter until the water tasted "odd". once replaced, tap water tasted good again. love the brita bottle with straw, very convenient if driving, don't have to lift bottles in front of face

Works great, removes a lot of the mineral flavor and, after testing, does a great job of removing particulates as well. These are supposed to last for 6 months (2 months each), but in my experience they tend to last about a month, maybe a month and a half. I do drink a lot of water, so I'd imagine that heavily factors into it, but thankfully they aren't very expensive.

Goes in the kids school reusable water bottles. Kids say the taste of the water is much better at the school using it. takes the swamp taste out. Wish they were in stores stocked more and not have to ship as we go through them often. That is the only reason 4 stars and not 5.

Bought for my college age son and he complains constantly that they are clogging up too soon within days and they are coming no where close to the gallons they are supposed to last. He says his face and jaw muscles are becoming well defined from how hard he constantly has to pull to get water. We're trying to get him to call customer service.
