Buckwheat Groats, 1 Pound — Raw, Vegan, Kosher — by Food to Live

I tried these groats in an overnight recipe with 2 tablespoons of groats in 1/2 cup of Kefir with some cinnamon. The next morning the groats were soft and chewy and the kefir was tangy and tasty. The groats really fill you up and have so many health benefits!

The product was fresh and had good color and taste.. I made overnight groats. It was so simple to do. Just put 1/2 cup groats in mason jar added 1 teaspoon sugar, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/2 cup of milk. Stirred and screwed on lid then put in fridge overnight.

first off buckwheat is not wheat it's not related to it and supposedly it's healthier for you than most of the stuff we're getting off the shelf right now especially bread and anything made wheat I grind of mine and a coffee grinder and make my oatmeal tight breakfast stuff and with a tab of sugar or even sugar-free syrup just the flavor it maybe some butter I'm still for eating real butter that's better for you than margarine

Buckwheat--the surprisingly nutritious gluten-free grain which is tasty and easy to prepare. The recipe on the package was a great intro--I also use it 50/50 with my organic oats in overnight oats. Underappreciated in my opinion.

Buckwheat used to be a common item in most grocery stores. Now it is only available online in this area. This brand gives you the biggest quantity at the best price. The only drawback is that it is not TOASTED. You have to toast it yourself. All other brands I've used come toasted ready for most recipes.
