Camp Chef Professional Flat Top Griddle 14x16, SG30

I purchased this griddle about a month ago and I have used it several times already for a variety of preparations such as peppers and onions and sausage. I have an older Yukon 60 dual-gas burner stove that still works great! The heating plate on the bottom of the griddle evenly distributes the heat just as it is explained on the web site. This creates an evenly heated surface area for your cooking so that you can count on using the entire grill surface. I only used the medium to low heat settings on my stove just as it is recommended and get great results. Wash with warm water and soap and be sure to apply some oil (veg or Olive) before storing. Would not hesitate in recommending his product.

Use this all the time! Seasoned it, cooked bacon and no stick! All the bacon grease drained away. Just season it properly and it will be terrific.

I have used this griddle several times and it is the bomb. Heat distributes very well. Easy clean up. Very well made. I just bought the SG 60. Can't wait to use it !

I only have cooked on this once, but exceptional product. Received, cleaned, oiled and heated. Then cooked pancakes, OMG, no sticking and they turned out beautiful and delicious!

I purchased this to go with my Camp Chef single burner stove. Love that and love this too! Originally I thought I was ordering cast iron,...but this is steel. It's heavy, it's fun, and it works! I did season it in my oven a few more times. Just be advised that you aren't going to cook up a three course meal on this one. More like 9 burgers with no room for onions, etc. Or,...you could do 3 or 4 burgers and have room for onion rings to toss on. For 2 people though you can do 2 burgers, some onions, and buns. My daughter has the 3 burner Camp Chef with the larger griddle that fits over 2 burners. I would absolutely buy 2 of these verses one of them for a 2/3 burner stove, because even this small one is super heavy, and the larger one is hard to manage indeed! If you're an oldie please take my word! I made the most beautiful tasty burgers of a lifetime on this Camp Chef Griddle. It put grilled burgers to shame. Fantastic. I bought an infrared thermometer to go with it and it really helps cook them at the perfect temp! (like 375-400) Great value. Get the carry bag that goes with it. It's super nice and makes life so much easier.

I haven't cooked anything on this yet because it's for Christmas, but it is really heavy duty and well made. I'm sure it will cook awesome and outlast me!

This is an indispensable tool for cooking for many. I used this to cook gyros for 200 folks with great success. Heat dispersed well, and it stays hot for radiant heat and continuity. It gets hot so plan to sweat! If you cooking. A grease trap is offered as an accessory but should be standard. Grease will flow out and all over the leg of the stove/floor. Placed a cup in the provided hanging holder but the cup melted quickly. Also, a carrying bag should be standard.

There's not much to say about the griddle, in the end it's a piece of metal that does what it's supposed to do. It's easy to clean and maintain, the bacon and other food you cook come out very nicely cooked. The only reason why it gets 4 stars it's mainly due to the fact that there are parts where it's hotter than others and it might cook things unevenly if you don't know where these are. Overall, a good purchase that will last for years.
