Super easy to set up, replaced my Canon D570, which is almost identical (which was a great printer). I've only just set this up %26 printer a few things, but so far so good. . Good printer for the money

This printer, scanner, copier is wireless WiFi and it works great! It is a little bulkier than I actually wanted but for all it does the size is worth it! We had a small table that we weren't using and it fit perfectly on top of it! It is only black & white but there is nothing I would ever need to print that I need to be in color. So the ink refills will be cheaper also! It has so many features I am excited about! It comes with a pretty thick manual and I intend on reading every page! I guess I am a nerd when it comes to electronic devices! So far I send items from my phone and printer them and I also scanned one item and made 1 copy! I feel like I have my own home office now complete with this top of the line printer! Very have with this product and I would highly recommend it to anyone searching for a black & white printer!

I have always been a fan of laser printers, they produce a better quality print that doesn't bleed when it gets wet. When I received the box I thought “oh my, this is a big box”. I was happy to find that the printer isn't huge. A decent size for a laser printer – 15.5 inches wide, 13.25 inches deep, and 12 inches high. It compares to the other laser printer that I have. What is nice is that this isn't just a printer: it prints, scans, and copies. What more could you ask for? It holds about a half of pack of paper, which to me is a nice amount for a home printer. As it is monochrome you cannot print color copies. Works great for printing letters, emails, etc. Just don't expect to print out your color photos. Set up was very easy, just follow the steps in the manual. Didn't take long at all and I was up and running. Since we use laptops in our house wireless printing is the way to go for us. So far we haven't had any issues and we have been using it for a couple of weeks. Great product and does exactly what it is supposed to do.

This printer was so easy to set up right out of the box. The illustrations provided with this printer made it absolutely painless. The software was easy to install, much quicker than previous printers I've owned. I had this printer ready to use within about 15 minutes from removing it from the box. This printer works flawlessly with my computer and my phone. The print quality is very good and I am really impressed at its speed. Being able to print even when I am out of the office makes this printer invaluable to me, I love this feature! Like all Canon products, this laser printer performs superbly and is excellent quality. Such a great value and the price point for this printer is perfect!

This Canon Monochrome Laser Printer is excellent as a home office printer. It holds plenty of paper, I'd say half a ream, and is very easy to set up. It connected smoothly to my wireless connection and also directly to my main computer through USB. The computer recognized it right away and I was able to print just like that without using the software disc that came with it. I was also able to copy right away. Both the print and the copy were clean, crisp and quick. I did run into an issue scanning. The computer did not recognize there was a scanner connected to it. I had to install the software from the disc and that cleared up the issue right away. I only wish it had a fax function because I still need it in my line of work, but most machines nowadays don't have them anyway, so no big deal. Overall I would definitely recommend this machine.

I was simply amazed by all that the Canon imageCLASS MF242dw - Multifunction, Wireless, Mobile-Ready, Monochrome Laser Printer could do. This really is a printer that can work in any big or small office setting. I do quite a bit of work on my phone and love that I can just send it to my printer wirelessly without all the fuss of transferring files. The printer is not only quiet but spits out copies with speed. The scanner works wonderfully letting you put two sided cards on the same page. It can also deposit a watermark on your work. I love how compact this printer is. It's not a odd shape like most so it fits anywhere with ease.

This review is for a Canon MF242dw Series monochrome printer that I received for my unvarnished and honest review. I received this all in one printer on Saturday. I have tried many printers for my insurance business, including Epson - which was a disaster, and HP, which also was a pain to keep it running. I also had an Oki-Data printer too. They all gave me problems. From dropping offline, to slow printing, and jamming issues. So far this printer hasn't experienced any of those troubles. This all-in-one-printer is very fast - even when auto duplexing is turned on. It cranks pages out in seconds. For my insurance business, that feature is very important. I don't have to manually flip the pages over to print on both sides. The printer does that for me. The print quality is crisp and clean, even in “toner save” mode. The printer itself seems very solid and well made. I have five printers that I use for business and they all need to work, or I'll lose money, or be out of business. I like this printer for its speed, auto-duplexing, and print quality. When my other printers die, they will definitely be replaced with Canon printers. I hope they continue this series. If you need a dependable printer for business, and don't need to print in color, this all-in-one is perfect for you.

I have been wanting a laser printer for a while. Finally glad I got my hands on one. This one only prints black and white. But will do the job flawless. It was very easy to set up and was ready to print in a couple hours. I like how this printer can print wireless so if your across the room you can just send it to the printer and it will start to print. This printer does have a little weight to it so make sure you stick it on a even flat surface. The ink to replace for this printer is very reasonably priced.

I've never owned a laser printer before, but this is really nice! The setup went smoothly. The printer found my wireless network, I entered the password, and it was connected to our network. My early 2014 macbook was able to print without any additional software. I am also able to print from my iphone. Printouts are very vibrant, more so than those from our inkjet printer. Copying and scanning also work smoothly. It's a nice compact design with an enclosed paper tray. I love how the control panel tilts outward for easier use when standing above the printer. I have not had any paper jams so far. We rarely need color printing, and this will be a great printer for our family.

Navigating through the menu was a breeze. Under the menu, I selected direct connection. I was able to print from my computer and cell phone immediately. I love all of the features. It has a quiet mode button even though it's not loud. You can pull out the Menu bar or leave it flat. Its images and print quality is perfect and precise. Nice quality laser printer.
