had a set already but one had different style handle don't think it mattered just felt different while curling so wanted same style handle feels better to me
Great price, product arrived in excellent condition, and great communication throughout the process. Bonus, is the shipment arrived early. Great job, Walmart!
I do think the price for dumbbells are outrageous. The reason I purchased from Walmart, is that they (compared to other stores) had the best overall price and free shipping. CAP is a great brand and like how they feel as I do my lifting. It was shipped in a timely manner, well wrapped and packaged. No damage and loving this item!
We have a home gym and almost all of the equipment are from Walmart because of their price point. My husband needed the 50lbs for his workout but the price was to high even at Walmart at the time. so i waited and got them on sale. so far so good. hubby is very happy with dumbbells'
The price is certainly better than everything new on the market and the dumbbells arrived in good time. Overall, new quality but each of the two 10-pounders I ordered had burs on the grips that looked like a machine grab, leaving rough/sharp spots near the end of the handle. Can't tell if it occurred during or after manufacture but instead of filing them down and risk exposing metal to rust, I'll do what I did with others I own and wrap the grips with tape.
One dumbbell arrived within 3 days. The dumbbell was wrapped in some plastic and the coating has some chipping on the edges. There's a crack one of the faces of the dumbbell. The other dumbbell is somewhere .FedEx tracker says it's been sitting at a location for 5 days. My overall experience with this online purchase was great with Walmart website. The shipping experience is not so great.
It showed up chipped. The packaging was completely removed by the delivery service. Not happy about the condition it arrived in, but it was bad not enough to go through the effort of returning it. Walmart should compensate for these situations or package heavy items better.
Can't beat the price, but you get what you pay for. I received two 25lb dumbbells. On the one the grip was normal and the other had no grip whatsoever on it. I returned the defective product, requested a replacement. The replacement arrived and the grip is only half present. I didn't bother again and just kept it
Despite being listed as coming from the same company this particular dumbbell was clearly not made by the same manufacturer as the color and texture was very different and it actually weighed 115 lbs instead of the labeled 110 lbs. While I can understand a variance of about a pound or so either way, 5 lbs is a bit much. I already got a 115 lb dumbbell with my order. I need a 110 lb dumbbell... not a second 115 lb dumbbell.
Arrived with the coating/paint peeling off. The peeling in the grip area made it unusable. I have to take time to return it to Walmart AND they will not send a replacement. I had another one the same size and brand but wanted a pair. They told me I would have to re-order it However ordering one will not meet the miniumum for free shipping. The Walmart agent on the chat told me he would email me a promo code I could use to defray the cost of shipping the replacement. 5.5 hours later, still no promo code. Poor quality product and poor cusotmer service
