Carlson Cal-600, Liquid Filled , 600 mg, 100 + 30 Softgels

I was told by my doctor to take these every day.

These are just calcium in a gel tablet with no hard fillers. I could never take calcium because most have D3 or fillers. I already take D3 and don't need more. I still take with a little food, but do not have the side effects I usual do with other “calcium” tablets.

Liquid calcium is hard to find in capsule form. The flavored liquids have way too much sugar (or fructose in them) and I like to take my calcium at bedtime. This form is more absorbable, easy on my stomach and all around best for me.

Been using this product for a while now and I have my husband on it too. We are up there in our ages so we need to keep our bodies stronger as we get older. I'm 60 and my husband is 78 .We need strong bones !

i like the Carlson calcium with the soft gel. They dissolve and dont make you nauseated. Most calcium is the hard tablets that dont dissolve and make you nauseated.

This product is ok although a bit large. Hard to find a calcium soft gel without vitamin D as I take that separately. I would prefer a soft gel product like this with calcium citrate. Citrate absorbs more easily than carbonate, but probably absorbs the same as in gel form. I will order this product again.

I would not recommend this brand. My body was unable to absorb it. As soon as I switched to another brand (same form and potency), my muscle cramps ceased.
