Anybody who has made fudge the old fashion way would really appreciate this product. Easy to make less time using the stove and ready in 2hrs. Purchasing your ingredients for making fudge can run into expenses. Carnation Fudge mix is by far economical. The price is more than fair. Consider the price of 1lb commercial fudge to what you may spend on Carnation Fudge mix for 1 1/2 lb. Buy Carnation Fudge mix before prices go up. Don't wait for the holidays. Enjoy!
I think that this product is absolutely delicious. I do mine for five minutes to make it a little firmer to me. It is right next to what I used to make and never turns out anymore so when I tasted this, I could not believe how close it was to the box take tha i think that this product is absolutely delicious. I do mine for five minutes to make it a little firmer to me. It is right next to what I used to make and never turns out anymore so when I tasted this, I could not believe how close it was to total scratch recipe. You can always add whatever nuts marshmallows anything else that you may want to that is your choice and not someone deciding what it will be. It has been two years since I found this in fact it may be this will be my third year. I was a little disappointed that they only had one box left, and they are the only ones that had any and wanna check around in a little while and see if anyone has any, that may have been inventoried in today and jput on the shelf today. Once Thanksgiving gets here is very very hard to find. It is only seasonal and only at Walmart..
this is the best one to make easy fudge that tastes really good the kids can even help make it carnation fudge has been around for years the only one i use enjoy.
Super fast and so delicious. Buy several boxes around the holidays, been doing this for decades now. Put in a glass jar with a ribbon, makes great gifts.
I buy my carnation %26sugar and follow same recipe on the box and save lots of $$ rather than pay almost $20 for 1 box!!!!
Love this fudge! Easy to make and tastes awesome. Hard to find in stores and would like to be able to purchase all throughout the year.
Easy and best tasting fudge everything you need is in the box. Always receive compliments when I give fudge as presents
I bought this this year as I always do believing this to be the normal “famous fudge” that is a family favorite! When I got home my kids had unpacked the box and I looked all over my house for the marshmallows I thought they took to eat lol. It wasn't until I looked at the box (which is smaller btw) that I realized IT DIDN'T EVEN COME WITH MARSHMALLOWS!!! I am so upset that they would change a crucial part of this recipe! Without it it would be the driest crumbliest fudge. Thank you to those who have added to the review to add 2 cups of marshmallows! Shame on you Nestle!!
I have bought this fudge kit for years and years. This year they removed the marshmallows from the kit. The fudge texture is now dry and crumble and tastes like you're eating slightly sweetened melted semisweet chocolate chips. It is terrible! I contacted Nestle/Carnation and they said customers complained about having to stir/melt the marshmallows in. The recipe change has made the fudge inedible. I am returning remaining boxes that I purchased.
They removed the marshmallows but kept all other ingredients. It doesn't taste good at all. Very dry and has a real over powering taste of condensed milk. We have been getting boxes of these every year because my husband and son will eat about 5 boxes from Thanksgiving to Christmas. They did not know about the change and both spit it out when I gave it to them. Will have to change to the recipe on the marshmallow jar.
