The oil is one of just a few oils that meets Acea a5/b5 qualities that my Volvo claims to require. I do my own oil changes, so Walmart has set a very fair price for this 5 quart unit. I would love to see the company offer a 6 quart container since my car requires slightly more than that per change.

Premium Motor Oil
I ordered this oil from Walmart dot com because the price had been reduced significantly. I have not used this oil yet. I have been using Castrol for several years. Castrol has always been a premium product in my experience. Therefore, I feel confident that I will have a good experience and be pleased with this premium motor oil.

Been using Castrol for over 30 years...20w50 in my k25 7.4L...always Castrol there top grade. Using the new synthetic 5w30 extended performance in my 4.7L Dodge 4x4 along with a Fram XG16..

Repeat Buy
Only oil I use in my truck! I have a 2004 Chevy avalanche with almost 300k miles on it. So needless to say she's gotta be taken a little extra taken care of. My trucks been running great, no issues.

ISLAC G-7 NOW
This is the first GF-7 oil on the market. The holy grail of engine protection technology. Change it every 5,000 miles or 1 year. Engine will last for 250,000 miles.

YES, Castrol EDGE Extended Performance
This is an extended performance synthetic oil, and it has the best additives for severe service. They say it's good for 25k miles, but I personally change more often. I just want the extra protection. Buy and extra quart, as most stores carry Edge 20k.

Castrol EDGE Extended Performance is my go-to full synthetic motor oil. The one and only oil for my Volvo S60.
My Volvo needs 5W-30 full synthetic motor oil that meets ACEA A5/B5 quality standard. This particular Castrol oil is the only one I can find that fits these criteria. It also helps that Volvo recommends Castrol.

The idle is a lot better. The engine runs quiet and smoother on my 2014 Buick LaCrosse. No need to add any oil additives
