Ceiling Fan Installation

We were promised that a professional from Angi would come by. I don't think this person had ever installed a toilet before. He didn't bring the right tools, couldn't tell me what he'd need from us until he was mid-installation and we caught him trying to reuse the old wax ring, and his first attempt didn't have the toilet put together correctly, so he managed to put gallons of water onto the floor. When he left, he left wet towels (we'd given him when things went wrong!) all over the bathroom, caulk splattered on the tile, and some of his tools tossed in our trash. It was an unholy mess. I would have been better off reading the directions and doing it myself, but I thought I should hire a professional. And yes, I guess I should have hired a real professional, or at least asked a friend who'd done it before. What a ridiculous mess!

Well done and certainly very thorough work - “D” took pride in his work and was sure to be efficient without rushing he took his time to be precise making sure the plumbing job was done without leaks avoiding any future issues. We were so happy with the new faucet installation, we love the new look and overall quality …hands down best experience and all went very well and smooth. I would recommend the service for anyone especially ask for D if possible. I'll be using him for any further future jobs that happen to arise.

product didnt arrive in time. the Angie website is user unfriendly. Gives you messages like, action unavailable.. I tried for 2 hours to get through even spoke to a representative and it didn't help. T support number given wasn't working. I needed to get ahold of the pro before the appointment to make sure this toilet would work in my space they won't let you talk with anyone unless 24 hours before your appointment which is insane. I'm going to just cancel the order start fresh.

This doesn't even deserve one star after canceling on me three times they finally gave me a refund. First, they gave me an appointment with the name of the person with also a photo. An hour after my appointment I got an email rescheduling my appointment asking me to confirm it. I confirmed my appointment and again after my appointment schedule had expired. It was canceled again this time they did not ask me to confirm the new appointment but rescheduled me again. This time I was not even asked to confirm my appointment. I was suspicious that this would even happen since they did not even asked me to confirm this Time and what do you know this time they canceled five minutes before my scheduled appointment. I was told I would be given a refund and they were sorry, but they could not find anyone in my area. Very disappointed in the service.

This service never happened. Tech called that morning for job details, decided he didn't want the job and made me cancel it. It was within the 24-hour window, so I was told I had to pay the $25 fee. He didn't want to cancel because I guess that gives him a black mark. So, he made me do it. The next paragraph is what I went through to not get charged $25. I had to explain the tech called me for more info on the project at 8:30 am for a 3 pm appointment, then declined the job after he was told what I needed. HE told me to cancel and when he sees I did, he would call back. (He did not). He would not cancel himself. HE made ME do it. I had to explain this (4 plus) times on a keyboard chat before I could verify I would not be charged the $25 fee. We just went round and round. Way too much work for something I didn't get! So now I'm stuck with a ceiling fan sitting on a table. Oh, and now I get to wait for 10 or 15 days for Walmart to refund my $149.

Damaged, poor customer service, installation contractor you recommend tried to negotiate more money as soon as they arrived. When I wouldn't negotiate they left and never came back. Called Walmart customer service told them about experience blamed the contractor, but promised to refund and didn't.

Angi was totally lacking. Had 3 different attempts to install. 1. The first installer appeared two hours early. Thought he was supposed to be installing a lock. I had no idea how to install a garage door. He unpacked the unit and we both decided he was not knowledgeable enough to do the installation. 2. Another installer was scheduled for a week later. He never showed up and did not call me. 3. Another installer was scheduled for a week later. He came and remove the old unit and installed a new one. When he tried to program it, he let it go too far up. Long story short, he fried printed circuit board and physically had a cut parts of the unit to unjam it. I got you need to send me a new printer circuit board. When is arrived and installed and checked the installation. Most of the attachment screws were either missing or not tight. It was a good thing then he fried the unit because the installation was mechanically terrible. 4. I eventually had to hire a local Garage Door contractor, American Door, They charged me an additional $150 to come and inspect the unit and program it properly. The two people that showed up from Angie were a great guys, but not knowledgeable in what they were supposed to do. Angie was difficult to contact and did not have personnel that should've been installing garage door openers. All in all was a horrid experience, which caused me extra money and a great deal of time. I was much more knowledgeable on how to install the door than the people they sent. I am 85 years old and should not have been climbing on a ladder due to my medical conditions. All in all I would say never use Angie again

It was impossible to use this service. We were initially told that the order had been put in wrong as an exhaust fan installation and would have to be cancelled. We had to talk to several people overseas who didn't make any sense. They then told us that they would put out requests for a ceiling fan installation. No follow-up. Nothing was ever scheduled. No one ever reached out to say that they couldn't find anyone or that it wasn't gonna happen or what would happen next period. I purchased this to try to make installation of a ceiling fan at my grandmother's home more easy. It ultimately made it more difficult. We had to go with a local handyman instead. I do not recommend the service at all. I think it's a very poorly planned and managed feature.

they have canceled on me 4 or 5 times then tried to give me a refund..i bought the part because of this service but hasn't happened i think its scamming I've got another appointment scheduled the 5th one guess we'll see if they ever show so i don't recommend this fake service..if they actually show ill review the work
