Door Knob and Deadbolt Installation

Finally, help is out there for things we can't lift or balance or know how to install, like the single bedroom air conditioner! I was so glad that it literally was just a box you had to check, just like the Allstate insurance coverage. I had a TV I bought months ago, still sitting in the box and he hooked it up also.

The installer himself was pleasant, competent, and very efficient. I found the Angi app somewhat confusing and difficult to use. A method to text directly to installer, would have made giving detailed directions to the site far easier. The app does have a "chat" with an Angi rep, but he/she then has to relay the message (or directions) to the installer. This seems a cumbersome process and prone to error. It is a very helpful service that Walmart is now teaming with Angi. It simplified and streamlined the process of purchasing an A/C unit, an extended warranty, and arranging for reliable, trusted service for installation all with one charge and payment to Walmart. So, thanks to Walmart and Angi for teaming up together.

The service is a good service. However, the handyman that was assigned to me was INSANE! A better job must be done to screen people going into other people's homes without supervision. The handyman was argumentative and unprofessional. Since I paid upfront for the service, I wanted all of the tasks done. Otherwise, I would have thrown him out of my house with no hesitation. He was extremely RUDE! He needs to get a job in a cardboard box!

installation was definitely not what we expected,had to help install it, and the installer drilled holes for screws in top of my new A/C because he said they sent the wrong screws. Serviceman didnt caulk around the new A/C and told me I would have to do that myself. He used box packaging under the A/C instead of the included insulation that he found later on. If the plug had been different he talked about using the old plug and cutting the new plug off and wiring it up that way. Bad Experience.

walmart couldn't get a contractor to fill the order. They should just discontinue this service. customers shouldn't have to wait 3 weeks and the end up finding a contractor in their own.

Nobody at Angi wanted the job. Managed to get a refund (I think) and hired someone I knew. The installation price was just too good to be true, I guess. Nobody wanted to do it for so cheap?

I called and texted the handyman multiple times to tell him the package was delayed again and tracking didn't have a new arrival time. Angi made up some extra fee that if you don't notify 24 hours in advance you charged. Finally the package arrived at 7:47 p.m. (47 minutes late), finally the handy man picks up. He doesn't apologize for not being in communication, anyway we agree that he comes the next morning at 10 a.m., since it was too late. The next morning he never showed I called and texted multiple times. Finally at 10:40ish or so he picks up and I am asking him are you coming? And he says yeah and I said ok what time? He hangs up the phone on me super rude and doesn't give me an ETA. I called and texted him, no answer. I called Angi, they were super rude as well. Angi told me I could re-schedule for Tuesday. I said no, it had to be done asap. This was the worst experience, I called Walmart and told them to cancel and I need a refund. I no longer wanted this rude person to maybe come to my place when he felt like it. It didn't feel safe. Walmart was great, but they should un-partner with Angi. Just hire a taskrabbit in my opinion.

be very. areful make sure you read everything. bombarded with Emails you ate signed up automatically for an account. I had to pay installer out of pocket he was online at least 15 minutes to resolve they are to credit the amt had to call again to have confirmation of refund they had sent nothing once refund received will cancel account

Not a nice experience. I order a security door therefore the installation went totally wrong wrong did not have the proper tools for the door. My door is a mess. I am now trying to find someone to install a damaged door. I am so disappointed in Angi because they are saying it's Walmart who put up barn door even though I spoke with Angi's and informed them that I order an exterior door. The worst experience. My door is completely damaged.

They did not install the air conditioner unit. I had to have my niece do so because they say that that they don't offer that here in Livingston, I live in Trinity and that's where they delivered it too, but they do not install it here so I do need to get reimbursed for that still hanging in there.
