Char-Griller Chimney Starter

I have only used thin chemny starter once so far, but I love it! Seems to be of great quality. Starts charcoal fast and easy, just place a sheet of crumpled up newspaper under it and light. The bottom dump feature is great, just pull the handle and lift it off the grate. No need for gloves, the heat shield in front of the handle works great along with the rubbery handle. I would highly recommend this to everyone.

This charcoal starter is the whole package. I love the quick release so I can do it with one hand. The rubber grips are great so I don't have to wear a glove or oven mitt. It is of excellent quality and large enough for any size grill.

Fast lighting chimney

I bought this chimney starter for my husband as a gift. Having previously either used Match Light coals or lighter fluid, he was impressed with its ease of use and thorough heating. The vent holes are places so the entire batch heats evenly without any special effort. The bottom drops down when the handle is pinched, which allows him to distribute coals evenly without worrying about how they might fall if he had to dump them out the top. We cannot speak to durability as this is a recent purchase, but hope to employ this convenient starter for years to come!

finally a way to start charcoal without having to use lighter fluid that ruins the taste of your food. and it's so easy to use, it gets the charcoal at a good temp and consistentency. then you just pull the "trigger" and the coal dumps into the grill without you having to turn it over and risk dumping it yourself!!

We bought this to use with our smoker which uses a larger amount of charcoal and the size is perfect. And it's very nice to have the trap door that you can release with the handle to drop down the charcoal. Works
