Charbroil Gas2Coal® 4-Burner Hybrid Grill

I bought this grill and my husband put it together in less than 2 hours. We used it twice already and I just absolutely love it! It was a great deal for the price! And it functions perfectly. The process of ordering was as easy and the delivery was great! Nothing to complain about, I'm super happy with my purchase.

I like the fact that I can cook with gas or Cole or both if I want. The grill was reasonably easy to put together. Very happy with this purchase! I had recently had back surgery so the four kids that brought the grill out and loaded it into my truck for me!!

Loving this grill! Assembly was easy - 4 hours from opening the box through verifying all parts were included to completion…by myself. Ignition worked on the first try. The combo feature is very clever and is a simple change out! I would buy it again.

I like its versatility and lightweightness. I can use propane and charcoal even at the same time. I didnt like the missing upper panel in the back where all the wind comes in and mess up the light. Not sure why its left open. Either its missing the metal panel or its left for a reason. Overall i like it.

I like everything about the grill except it does not light electronically I have to light it manually every time. Have tried changing the electrode and regulator, nothing helps.

Assembly can take approximately up to 4-1/2 hours. I suggest to lay all parts out before starting per the 1st support person I talked to. If you have questions do not hesitate to call Char-Broil customer service 1-800-241-7548. Char-Broil should greatly improve their assembly instructions on their GAS2COAL® 4-BURNER HYBRID GRILL, its very outdated, confusing and time consuming in this day and age. 4-1/2 hrs to assemble is not acceptable. Also the 2nd customer support person I held on the phone with for 1 hr did not know the product at all, she was just guessing and giving outrageous solutions like look for spiders in the gas line, change the ignitor battery and reroute the gas line for why the brand new main burners would not ignite. I figured it out on my own, which also was not in the troubleshooting section. To light the main burners you MUST light the SECOND burner first, that burner has the ignitor attached to it. After assembly was completed the grill looks good and works great.

Great grill concept love the cold feature. Charcoal Heats up really quickly. The gas grill part flames up a lot. I have charged a couple of Tomahawk steaks. If there is a way to keep the flames from flaring up when you use the gas portion of the grill. Address the flare ups you wikl get five stars

It looks pretty solid and realiable. Manual was really clear and building it up was quiet easy process. I already used it 4 times and it never failed. Control the temperature it's easy and allow great flexibility. I'm still kettle enthusiast, but I have to say that with Gas2Coal was really huge leap forward!

I have had this grill since end of October and every time I grill chicken all I get is grease flare ups. Have been disappointed with this product it cooked pork chops perfectly but haven't had the best of luck when comes to chicken

The grill is difficult to assemble. Serviceability is terrible. My purchase was first missing a part in the first sequence of assembly. Contacted Char-Broil and the missing part arrived in three days. I completed the assembly and attempted to fire the grill up for the first time. The electronic igniter would not work. Called Char-Broil and replacement parts were shipped and arrived in five days. I was told by their service rep that when the parts arrived, I should call and would be given replacement instructions. I called Char-Broil and was informed that I would have to completely disassemble the entire grill in order to install the new parts. This grill is going back to Walmarts for a refund.
