Chicken of the Sea Solid White Pure Albacore Tuna, No Drain 4 oz

It's about the same price as the 5 oz can, but the 5 oz includes about 1 oz of liquid. I usually buy whatever solid/chunk white in water is cheapest and on sale. I drain and rinse it to cut the salt. Quality can vary by brand, but this one has been consistent—firm, solid white tuna with no mush. It has a pull top, which might be tough for weaker hands. Product of Thailand, if that matters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always loved Tuna, specifically the Chicken of the Sea brand. Was excited to try this, and just as expected it was delicious. I wish the cans came a little bigger, but it was still good. I think the nicest thing about it was not having to drain it, I just ate it right from the can. Also the fact it's wild caught tuna and not farmed is a big plus. Will definitely buy again.

Draining the liquid is annoying, and the packets of tuna that have no liquid made this step non-existent. It is nice to see canned tuna following suit. It feels like the liquid was just messy and unnecessary all along!

One can short on delivery. Should have been total of 9 cans...only received eight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I will say it is nice not to have to drain the product out, especially if you make tuna salad often! I ended up trying a tuna fettuccine dish, and it complimented it pretty well. I will add that they do leave a little juice, so don't accidentally tip the can and spill some like I did (luckily, not very much). Overall, I'd say a great product if you wanna skip a step in your prep, but also, I feel it brings out a stronger tuna flavor. I liked and will probably buy it again, but I'll probably more often stick to draining mine. Personally I like the lighter tuna flavor.

I'm not going to say don't buy this can of tuna fish it's decent. I like that it's not soaked in a bunch of water. The taste is okay. It was a impulsive buy, I wanted to try something new. I won't buy it again.
