it's taco seasoning, but with the smoky goodness of peppers,.ie, chipotle.. This took me by surprise, i rather enjoyed it immensely. i like tacos, taco.meat, and nacho tacos, yet the flavor seems very balanced and nit overpowering. i would highly recommend you try it, for just a simple change...
Cholula medium taco seasoning is perfectly curated with a well balanced blend of flavors. The seasoning is not overly flavorful. The seasoning is not overlay salty. Compared to competitors flavoring the seasoning has well balanced flavor. I find most comparable seasonings are very salty tasting. I would absolutely purchase this product. I would also recommend this product to friends and family.i enjoyed serving my family this delicious meal made with Cholula medium taco seasoning.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Cholula Smoky Chipotle Taco mix. I tried it with ground turkey, and it tasted very good. I followed the instructions on the package and had no issues. The smoky flavor was present without being too strong, and the medium spicy level was just right for me, as I don't like food that is too spicy.
I've been making tacos at home for years, and I'll be honest, I was skeptical that a seasoning packet could change my routine. But the Cholula Smoky Chipotle Taco Mix genuinely surprised me. The flavor is the real standout here. That smoky chipotle depth is layered in a way that most taco seasonings just don't bother with. You get warmth and complexity without the kind of harsh heat that overwhelms the other ingredients. It's medium heat in the truest sense: noticeable but not punishing, which means everyone at the table is happy. Compared to the generic store-brand mixes I've relied on for years, this one tastes considerably more intentional. There's a smokiness that lingers in a good way, and it pairs beautifully with both ground beef and chicken. I've also stirred it into sour cream for a quick dip and used it to season roasted vegetables. It holds up in all of those applications. The convenience factor is a genuine benefit too. One packet, perfectly portioned, no measuring, no digging through the spice cabinet. For a weeknight dinner it's hard to beat. Would I buy it again? Already have. Would I recommend it? I've already texted a friend the name. If you love Cholula's hot sauce and want that same bold, smoky character in your cooking, this mix delivers.
Cholula Smoky Chipotle Taco Recipe Mix is an excellent option for a quick and delicious dinner. I really enjoy making tacos in the evening after work when I have very little time to cook. With this mix, everything is easy and fast: just add it to the meat, and the dish develops a rich smoky flavor with a pleasant hint of spice. What I especially appreciate is that my whole family loves tacos made with this seasoning and always asks me to make them again. It's a great product for anyone who wants to prepare a tasty family dinner without any extra effort.
Great spice packet to season taco meat. I slow cooked two pounds of a pork shoulder butt along with two cups of chicken broth with this Smoky Chipotle Taco spice packet and the pork turned out very tasty and flavorful with a hint of chipotle smokiness. I don't like my meat too salty, so using the packet for a larger cut of meat and a low sodium chicken broth worked for me.
I tried this Cholula Smoky Chipotle Taco Seasoning Mix last night after receiving it free from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review, and I was honestly impressed. Even though it says to use it with chicken, I used it with ground beef for tacos and it turned out really good. It had a bold smoky taco flavor without being overly spicy, which I loved. Sometimes chipotle seasonings can be all heat and no flavor, but this one had a really nice smoky taste that wasn't overpowering. It mixed really well with the beef and gave the tacos that restaurant-style flavor without needing to add a bunch of extra seasonings. Definitely one I'd buy again for taco night!
The Cholula Smoky Chipotle Taco Seasoning I received as a sample was perfect for a weeknight dinner. We prepared it with chicken and the flavor was bold and delicious without being overly spicy. Preparation could not be easier, which was appreciated on a busy weeknight. The chicken was great in a taco bowl and salad. I'd definitely buy this and would like to try it with ground beef as well.
My go to taco seasoning was the Great Value chipotle taco seasoning. I can never find that anymore but this is almost as good. It's also more expensive. It stinks to pay more for something you don't like as much but this is the only option now. It has a great smoky flavor. This has so much more flavor than regular taco seasoning and I can never go back.
If you like the Chipotle smoked flavor then this is your go to. i recently found this brand when i was looking for something different, and decided to try it. Both my husband and i like the flavor of this taco seasoning. Weve also used it on pork chops and steak.
