Classico Signature Recipes Traditional Pizza Sauce, 14 oz Jar

I normally go for the Great Value branded items due to the cost of brand-name stuff. Unfortunately, the Great Value brand pizza sauce does not taste as good as this one. We usually have pizza every other week and make everything pretty much from scratch. The sauce is a little bit sweeter, but overall the flavor is better than the other ones we have used.

Don't just use this pizza sauce on pizza or flatbread - it's very versatile and can be used for other dishes. I use it in my home-made pizza, yes. But I also add a jar of it to my pasta sauces for an extra umph of flavor. This pizza sauce has lots more flavor than regular spaghetti/pasta sauce, so I like to add it to make my food more flavorful.

I originally bought this Classico Traditional Pizza Sauce to use as a dip for my homemade fried cheese sticks, and it turned out amazing! The flavor is rich, tangy, and perfectly seasoned without being too salty or sweet. It tastes like something you'd get from a good pizzeria, not out of a jar. The texture is smooth with just the right thickness for dipping. I've since used it for mini pizzas and calzones too, and it works great every time. Definitely a staple in my pantry now.

I know this is supposed to be for pizza but I used it for the Campbell's Souper Macaroni and Cheese that uses tomato juice. I just add water to about a third of the jar to make 3/4 cup "juice" and it was so tasty. I can then freeze the other two portions for use later. Eventually I will probably use it to make pizza.

Love this sauce! Sometimes I take a flour tortilla and smear with this sauce and cheese and maybe pepperoni slices, heat it up in microwave or skillet for a quick and easy personal pizza.

This sauce is the best jar sauce, (I know my grandmother's are rolling over in their graves) , you can buy, to make an authentic pizza at home. As long as you're using a 500 degree oven, a pizza stone, fresh mozzarella and fresh basil.

This is the best and most authentic tasting pizza sauce out there. I use it on frozen cheese pizza (Any brand but I use Red Baron) to spruce it up and add xtra cheese and season with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and fresh basil. YUM!!

I love this sauce- Classico Signature Recipes Traditional Pizza Sauce, I wish the had bigger jars cause I like a thicker sauce, I use it on the Nanna bread for pizza, or in ravioli for a small casserole Also great for dipping in bread sticks too

STILL READ THE JAR CONTENTS.....I NOTICE MORE ONIONS AND SAUCE. LESS TOMATO'S. PROBABLY DO TO LACK OF TOMATO'S GROWING, BEING PICKED, LESS HELP. COST, HAVE TO CUT CORNER'S TO SAVE, JUST MY THOUGHTS. I DID NOTICE. LESS ACID. NO BURNING STOMACH. AND I MUST ADMIT. IT WAS A VERY ENJOYABLE MEAL. AND AFFORDABLE TOO.

This tasted sour. I tasted it compared to the leftover sauce I had before this one, and it was definitely bad. Decided not to try to go get a refund, because it ruined my entire pizza, including a lot of other ingredients. Will not buy from Walmart again.
