At first I was feeling less than good about the cost of these, however, one tablet lasts a week or more! Unlike other brands. And it keeps my pool at perfect levels. Love it!
Works great in my saltwater pool. Salt content got right where it needs to be.
This product really works a whole lot better than the traditional Sand. It collects more algae and particulate matter in the water. It lasts longer and it doesnt need to be back flushed as often.
I ordered two bags of pool sand, they arrived in one box that had been sorely mistreated and ripped, The box was taped, then re-taped and then taped again. I understand the weight was 50 lbs total, thankfully the backs were not damaged.
the backwash requirement is not well documented. yes, you will need to refill your pool once you get past that. it works well.
The purchase isn't what is bad nor the price. The shipper from Walmart.com in South Carolina is who made this mistake. Anyone who ships things out to a customer should always look to see if somethings wrong with the product. Bad product=one less customer! With the bubble wrap they put in the box there shouldn't of been any damage to my product so that just tells me it was damaged before leaving the facility. I
First time using a sand filter and I chose this product, now my pool has green tint due to some sand getting back into pool after initial rinse cycle. My pool the past 2 years has been SPARKLING CLEAN while using intex 1500 GPh cartridge pump. Now only a week of pool full of water , the pool has a slight green tint, and it definitely is not algae related. I will continue to run pump and clean pool but if the water clarity doesn't improve, I will never use this product again
Did not clean my pool, I ended up replacing it a few days later with filter balls. Could have been user error, but I will be staying with filter balls instead.
This is not regular pool sand, I have a regular 50lbs sand filter. And no matter how many times I rinsed it my water still got brown and the metal in my water was ridiculous high. Nope went back and got regular sand. Please just use regular sand. This product is made for a unique filter in my opinion, no mater what I did my pool would not stabilize, and metal just kept my water brown. DO NOT BUY.
I followed the instructions exactly as stated on packaging, after a day running the pool water became cloudy. left it running another 2 days but the cloudiness did not go away. ended up having to switch system to actual filter to get water clear again. not recommended.
