I use this to get the iron/metal out my pool caused from using well water and it works within a couple hours. First photo is after filling up 2nd photo is 2 hours after putting in a quarter or the metal out bottle.
Filled the pool with well water, added chlorine and the water turned bright green. Used the whole bottle but it took the green out, the filters then turned brown and changed to be changed x3 but it worked. Definitely must have if you use well water with heavier metal content
This may seem pricy or even outrageous, but I compared many different products, and this is it. My pool filter turned orange from using well water and within 15 minutes I had a crystal-clear pool. Clorox you didn't .
If you have hard water and your pool turns red from the reaction of metal with chlorine this will take care of your pool water!
There are detailed directions. Follow them. You need to have certain PH for this to do the job. I found out that following the PH and chlorine recommendations did the job.
Removed the stains I had on the pool sides. Had mineral stains %26 mustard algae at the same time. After adding the product the sides cleared up and the steps.
What I like about Clorox pool and spa is that the product came on time. What I dislike about the product is that I ordered 2 bottles of chloride and spars scale metal and stain control And I got 1 bottle of scale metal and stain control and 1 awesome algicide I did not order algicide So now I have to go through the trouble of return And seeing if I can get another bottle of scale metal stain and control.
I used the correct amount for my pool and yet see no results??? Still metal stains %26 scale on tile
I have a few copper stains in my pool, and I bought three bottles of this product to try to remove the stains out of my pool along with a yellow stain that is on my steps. This product never worked. I did exactly what the bottle said because you have to adjust your pH and your chlorine or the chemical does not work correctly I learned this from last year from another person that said that they had the same problem. And it never worked for them.. I didn't know that you could return the product because it would just be empty bottles because product was used and in my pool so I had nothing to return but here I am months later and I talk to somebody and they said to go ahead and put a review in so no one else makes the same mistake and spend that much money. So now I have bought a mineral remover to take the minerals out of my water and then I had a water test done and they said I have no minerals in my water but the stains are still there from last time so I have to buy a stain remover which I did on Amazon hopefully when it arrives the product will work it's so nice to have a big beautiful pool but to see small rust stains in it are yellow stains is very aggravating, but I'm slowly learning how hard water and other items can cause things in the pool. I've never had problems with algae only little stains from the hard water, so I hope this new product from Amazon works better than the Clorox product
There is white water mold in this product! My pool has had white water mold twice this summer. I just got rid of it again, then went to balance all of the chemicals, and noticed the white water mold IN this product. Thank goodness I noticed it before pouring it into the pool for the third time. And this time it was a brand new bottle purchased yesterday!
