Coleman Classic 150 QT Hard-Sided Ice Chest Cooler, Silver Ash

This cooler is the perfect size..............about 3 feet long. Big, but not too big. It's the usual, well constructed, Igloo quality. We iced down Gatorade on a Friday afternoon and by the time we distributed it on Saturday morning it was nice and cold, and still had ice in the cooler. I would buy again with no hesitations.

Huge cooler! Had a two day drive for vacation with children and we didn't want to go out to eat every meal in the way there so we got this instead! We had so much room we ended up stocking basic groceries. We did use lots of ice and ice packs/frozen water bottles so it stayed nice and cold even with being opened many times and sitting in the back of a truck for 2 days in the middle of summer. We did test our luck in the way home bc we had frozen food, it did not stay frozen- which I did not expect it to but thought I'd try! It stayed very cold but we did have to eat it the day we got home.

I bought this because I was taking food up to my daughter in college and we were stopping overnight at a friend's and I didn't want the food to spoil. My current 1980's coller is too small for road trips/transport and I got the biggest one for a great value that I can find. The reviews seemed good and I figured I could return it. I love it! A few notes. It is quite large. Was a good size for this weekend, but prob too big for local needs. Let me repeat - it's very large, which means it takes a lot of ice to fill. I froze some large ice packs, had my ice machine run as much as it could overnight, and then bought two bags of ice. It did the job. I heard the ice slushing around 5 days later before it had all turned to water (this is in ~55 degree day temps). Overall I'm very happy I made the purchase - it will be used on many road trips to come.

I purchased this Coleman 316 Series 120QT Hard Chest Cooler from Walmart and couldn't be happier. I added a set of adjustable aftermarket latches (purchased from another retailer), installing one on each side and two in the middle. The upgrade made the lid seal even tighter, and it performs amazingly. I used it during a Fourth of July event in temperatures around 78°F, and it held ice for about five days total. Even after bringing it home, there was still plenty of ice left inside. I experienced zero leaks, and everything stayed cold the entire time. The capacity is excellent too. I was able to fit approximately 2½ cases of bottled water with ice, plus about 25 canned beverages, with room to organize everything comfortably. Added Tip: The added latches made the seal outstanding for my needs. Trying to help those with ice retention issues maximize their results. Highly recommended!

Very good product. Done what we needed it to do. Butchered steers and needed the cooler to transport the meat home. It was an hour drive from packing house to home. Meat remained frozen. My only complaint was, the price was dropped shortly after my purchase. 🥴

This cooler is great in size. Fit everything needed for a 2 1/2 camping trip, does take quite a bit of ice to fill but thats ok because the ice held up the entire time. Had to dump quite a bit out at the end. Very impressed. My only complaint would be the lip not staying up on its own. Other than that it definitely held up to its purpose

It's doesn't hold ice very long at all. Maybe 6-8 hrs depending on the outside climate, but it is very large; the seat on the top with the cup holders is an amazing piece for sure! The appearance is great; designed great %26 wonderfully large (like if you were processing meat; this would hold 1 maybe 2 full size deer easily)…but it just did not hold ice for as long as I expected from the description. It has an easy draining spout. Seal seems to be great but the insulation just wasn't as described.

Bought this cooler to go on a camping trip. The cooler kept our food cold. But as the ice melted it started to leak from the valve used to drain the cooler. We tried to tightened the valve but if there was enough ice that melted and water in the cooler it leaked.

I have two older versions of this cooler and I have nothing negative to say about them. We do have to store our camping gear in an out building, so they do become somewhat less effective over several years. For that reason, we replaced our previous coolers with what appeared to be the same model. From day one on our trip, we knew this cooler wouldn't be kept. The ice was mostly melted before we could set up camp and completely melted within 24 hours. This meant we had to go out to buy replacement ice all week. This cooler was in the shade. The past versions were able to hold ice for at least two or three days. Don't waste your money on this cooler unless you plan to use it for one day events or you have a good sized ice maker you can take along with you. I think I spent as much on ice as I did on the cooler for an eight day trip. Next season we will start shopping other brands or just use my old coolers. If the quality of reasonable priced coolers is this poor now, why waste money on a new one instead of using what I have?

The strap that holds the lid from opening all the way snapped about 2 hours after putting ice in it. then the lid started to warp bowing up at each side at hour 3 and by hour four both of the hinges had snapped..... the quality is extremely low for this price point. so now it is set as the permanent truck bed cooler with ratchet straps holding the lid down.
