Coleman Insta-Clip #21 Wire-Twist Mantles, 2-Pack

I got an email that it arrived and it never showed up. They owe me my money back. Ordered from Walmart twice and they screwed up both times. No third strike. They are out

Installation was fairly simple and it was nice not to worry about getting a knot tight enough so the mantle doesn't fall off during transit.

The mantle looks good, and I purchased 4 of them (2 pair packages). The spring allows quick installation of the mantle so you don't need to fiddle with tying knots and then snipping off the extra length of string. However, in my case, the spring clip of one of the two mantles I did install does not completely encircle the mount, and as a result is partly off. Since these are spring steel I don't believe it could have been bent out of shape during installation given the ease of installation, so probably a defect in production. Still works however, but very likely to fall off entirely if the lantern is jostled or bumped. Will revert to string tied instead of spring loaded mantles going forward!

I really like the clip style of mantles! Much easier than trying to tie a knot with my old fingers!

Used the insta-clip mantles on the lantern and it was easy to use and setup! no more strings to tie, love them they work!!

Easy to use and very effective on changing out the mantle(s). I don't see what the fuss is all about on some reviews.

These Lantern Wicks are great . 68 years old and so nice to just Clip a new wick on instead of trying to tie it. Quick service , thanks

lol works great, great price.

2 installed and 1 immediately reduced in size and I doubt longevity!

I purchased these mantles due to the easy clip design. Let me say that it was very easy to install versus having to tie them on. Aside from the clip action they are like any other mantle. To me, the clip design is well worth it.
