Great lamp to use when electricity goes out. We have 1 like that 15 years ago now %26 still going. We use it to camp @ beach in night. Now I taking for family in the islands to use . Advise anyone to buy . Super lamp %26 strong . Thanks .kayube Mohamed

Purchased as spares for my northern Nova lantern. So far , no problems with burning them in or with the lantern in operation. I strongly suggest reading the instructions on the mantel packet and burn them in before lighting the lantern.

I have not used these exact Mantel, but I have used Cliff on Mantel of the different number for my many white gas lanterns that I have and a couple propane love how easy they go on no more strings

so easy to use

Purchased spare #95 mantles when ordering other parts since they are not available locally for my northstar lantern.

I just purchased the Coleman Northstar 1500 lumens lantern and tried to install the mantle. It lasted exactly 5 seconds. A light breeze immediately destroyed the mantle. There was only one mantle in the box and so the lantern was useless for my camping trip. Now I look online and the replacement mantles cost $22 each. This was a $50 lantern. At this rate I could spend hundreds of dollars a year on replacement mantles. I am returning the lantern to Walmart. I had two previous Coleman lanterns and they lasted more then twenty years. This new model must be a joke, either that or a very profitable product.
