Coleman Sundome 4-Person Weatherproof Dome Tent with Ventilation

Super amazing tent. Definitely worth the price! The first night camping a bad storm came through with 45/mph winds and heavy rain. We stayed nice and dry and the tent didn’t cave!! The tent beside us was not so fortunate. Will be buying more for family who travel with us that way I know they are safe.

This was our first camping trip ever, and the Coleman Sundome 6-Person Tent impressed us in all the ways that mattered. We faced multiple days of inclement weather, including heavy rain and strong winds. On the first night, a small amount of water came in through the bottom vent during the downpour, but otherwise we stayed dry. By the second night, the wind picked up enough to test the structure of the tent, and it still held up. We had one adult and two teenage boys inside, each with sleeping pads, bags, and backpacks, and we had more than enough room to move comfortably. It’s a very spacious and breathable tent, especially for beginners. Setup took us closer to an hour, but this was our very first time ever pitching a tent. Once assembled, it felt sturdy, but I would strongly recommend reinforcing your stakes after any rough weather. It’s a smart extra step to keep things secure in case more storms roll in. The only drawback we encountered was a surprising number of bugs trapped between the roof and rainfly—visible from inside the tent. It didn’t affect us during the night, but it was definitely unsettling in the morning. Overall, the Coleman Sundome delivered where it counts. It’s a solid choice for first-time campers and families looking for space, comfort, and solid protection from the elements.

great tent. not too large and not too big. perfect for me, my husband and bour two little kids. and able to have lots of space and our bags on the side.

Nice size, easy enough to put together that my 11 year old was able to do it for her school camping trip. I love that the poles are strung together to make it easy to assemble. And the instructions are sewn in the carrying case, so if you ever forget what you're doing, you're covered. We even got everything back in the carrying case, so wins all the way around.

At first the directions weren't clear on what to do but we figured it out. Once figured out it wasn't that hard, and was perfect! Had ventilation windows that you can cover or leave open. Rain guard was neat too and looked cool. 4 person tent bigger than expected actually. There were loops inside that you could safely hang glasses on, and a storage pouch on both sides. There was also like a welcome mat to put at opening. Carry case nice too. Pleased with this purchase. Oh and at the top center there was a loop from which we hung little lantern.

Love this tent!! It is tall enough to stand up and I am 65 and a woman and can set it up on my own. I fit a queen size air bed and there is enough room for my little table and a chair. My 2 dogs and I sleep great. It did rain pretty hard and we stayed dry. Love this tent and it should last me for a while.

Bought this tent specifically to take to Big Bend where it gets pretty windy at times. Second night there, a storm came in with 35 mph winds and rain. The tent stayed together, didn’t let any rain in. This is an excellent tent and pretty roomy for just two people.

I have several Coleman tents, (3,4,6 %26 8 man) that I have been using for years. As my kids get older, and they like sleeping on their own (and I like them being able to setup %26 breakdown on their own), Coleman dome tents have been dependable (when properly taken care of and stored). These Sundome tents seems to be a slightly lower quality zipper door than I'm used to, but I wanted matching tents and also bought the 3year warranty, as I expect my kids will put them to the test this year.

This was almost impossible for me to put up by myself. Other reviews said it was easy and I am an instruction reader. They weren't thorough enough for me. I did get it up enough to know I liked the size and the way it looked. I'm just looking for super easy.

Pole bent first use. I have contacted Coleman twice now, filled out the warranty application and I have not heard back it's been two weeks. I have always purchased Coleman and love their product. the tent is very nice but the pole should not have bent and split fiberglass and cut my fingers.
