I was in need of a new device to test my glucose level once daily. I read the reviews for the different brands and decided to purchase the Contour. It arrived as promised. Read both pamphlets, but not the user guide. Easy to follow instructions. Easy set up for the meter.Happy colors (bonus) for the lancets. I performed my first test, simple and easy. No coding required. Just test and go. The pouch holds everything neatly. The only other item I add to my kit, if desired, is alcohol wipes for cleaning the test site. Ready, Set, Test

I finally found a device that measures very accurately. It also allows you to add a little more blood if the initial amount was quite enough so that you don't waste the strip. I won't bother to try any other type of glucose meter. This one is by far the best, easy to use and small enough to carry with you anywhere.

This is the best and easiest glucose monitor to use. I love how I can track my blood sugars on the app and easily send my results to my doctor. My insurance doesnt feel the same way and this was a great price and the strips are reasonably priced too. i have reliable results when I compare them to the lab results.

Great little set! Comes with everything you need. I like the small and cool design of the glucose meter. The batteries were almost dead when it arrived but the meter itself is really nice, works fast and screen is easy to read. The lancing device is easy to use and the directions are easy to understand. The little carrying bag is nice and everything fits in it well.

I had to get a new tester because the one the VA gave me was way too expensive to get more strips ($100 for 50 compared to $35 for 50). I used it for the first time this evening and it works great. I have an app on my iPhone called mySugr and you can connect this to it via Bluetooth and it logs it automatically. The app made by the company to use with this is way outdated. I was diagnosed with diabetes last week, and I recommend those who have it to try the ketovore diet (a combo of keto and carnivore). In two days I went from 295 to 201 for my blood sugar. Accurate and long lasting well built equipment. I've still got one over ten years old and accurate using testing serum. These were dated 2023 so they are still within warranty ranges but it's always important to buy testing strips to see if any meter you buy is within range. Then use with glucose strips. Comes with case, 20 glucose strips, very nice adjustable lancer with two bags of lancets. For under $20 it's rated as top performing accurate glucose tester out there. Easy carry and lasts

I've owned a Contour Next One (USB version) years ago. So, I opted to get the current version. Overall, I'm pleased with the utility of the device. I did have a few issues with the order, though. My original order was missing from the delivery. So, I had to place another order, and pick it up the next day, which was a hassle. When I got home, I discovered the product box was damaged.. Everything seemed fine with the exception of some missing test strips. I decided not to bother raising the issue with Walmart. ( the glucometer was needed to be placed into duty). Pertaining to the actual glucometer, I was disappointed that the battery strength showed 1/4 level upon first activation!!! I am still glad I purchased this specific product. And Walmart had a very competitive price.

DO NOT ORDER THIS ITEM I ordered this item today for delivery, but what I received is not what is in the above photo. I spoke with a customer service representative about the mix-up since the item is non-refundable. He said what's listed in the specifications are what is actually is in the item. Who looks at the specifications?! I looked at the item details, and it lists everything in the Photo, but he still said I got what is listed in the specifications of this item, to which I reminded him, I thought I was ordering what I saw in was in the picture, and what's in the item details, and it's not my fault that this item's listing is incorrect. I spent an hour on the phone with this person before he finally said he'd refund the item, and have someone come and pick it up. The photo in the review is what I received

no matter how much blood I'd get on there it would never detect it. I pricked myself so many times and never got a reading. most it would do is signal that it needs more blood, but I already would drip like 4 drops onto it so idk how much more it wants. seems like it's just faulty.

I hadn't bought anything from Walmart in about 20 years, but decided to give them another chance. I purchased this in my very first order. The one they sent me was in a box that had obviously been opened previously. Completely unacceptable, especially for a medical product. Of course, they wouldn't accept a return. Looks like I made the right choice all those years ago when I stopped shopping at Walmart. I won't be buying anything else from here.
