It's a little bulky around the shoulder, but everyone's shoulders are different. The strap that runs under your arm and across your chest is sort of uncomfortable. But it's tolerable and really helped my shoulder. I fell on my shoulder and pulled a muscle, and the shoulder brace really helped. within 3 days, i could tell the difference in pain level.
We purchased this item for my son to wrestle in after complaining of shoulder pain. Overall the item is good and supportive but he complained a bit about the velcro and connection piece irritating. Also I guess its self-explanatory on how to put it on put I would have liked a little instruction or guidance
This well constructed shoulder brace has great knit fabric with solid stitching. I chose size S/M which doesn't fit so good because I'm a very small person. It will probably fit a larger person much better. My rotator cuff has a full tear plus another tear, and, I have other issues with this shoulder which is why I bought this - to help stabilize my shoulder until my surgical procedure. It's good enough for now and provides some relief.
It's not a bad product per se. The compression material is decently soft so it's not super unpleasant on bare skin. And the stitching seems well done. However, unfortunately even the large/x-large is too small for me. If you're someone who works out a fair bit like me or is just a big person in general, and has large upper arms and a big chest , it won't fit you. Also, the strap that goes across your chest probably needs to be a bit wider. It's a bit too narrow so it kind of digs in and also folds in on itself/rolls up. Could use being a bit longer too. Not great. Ended up not being able to use it. Won't buy this brand again most likely.
I tore my rotator cuff then reinjured it and needed something immediately. Instructions say to measure your arm 5 inches above the elbow, mine measured at 12" which per the sizing guide would be a small/medium. This thing runs MUCH smaller to the point it cut off the circulation to my hand! Imagine a blood pressure cuff pumped twice the tightness needed....The strap around the chest is somewhat flimsy and thin so it gets twisted very easily. The fit just isn't right from the neck to under the arm and very uncomfortable but does give some relief compared to the pain of nothing at all if you have nothing else.
There are definitely better ones out there. The website gives poor directions on how to measure for the brace and even if you measure correctly the sleeve may be too uncomfortable and tight to wear. the strap doesn't stay in place either. i injured my rotator cuff and fractured my collarbone and this didnt help with much.
Was looking for something to help support some shoulder tendinitis. Saw one of these braces looked promising, and the price seemed reasonable. But after receiving the product and using it for a week or so there is some major issues with the fit. For one, the cuff that slips up and supports the arm it's super tight and wearing it for extended periods of time feels very uncomfortable. The top half which slides over the shoulder is way too loose and does not support the actual shoulder area. I have seen other others online that seem to do a better job of fitting the needed area. I will more than likely end up purchasing something else as this product just does not fit properly. The quality however, is pretty solid no loose threads sewing has been tight. Velcro strap seems quality. I would not recommend this product unless you are able to try it on personally for yourself before purchasing.
Notice there is not a full picture of a woman wearing this? Unless you are flat chested, this is not going to work. If somehow you *are* able to manage it, this is more compression for your arm than your shoulder. It did absolutely nothing for my shoulder and it either had to go under the boob lifting it to great heights, or on top of it squashing it down uncomfortably. This is a no go in every way...
I will tell you that you should measure yourself or try it on before buying it. It was too big at the top of the shoulder and couldn't provide support. I was really hoping that the Copper would help me recover easier. Unfortunately, I had to return it .
for almost $20, I was sore-ly disappointed with this brace.I did a better job myself with 2 bungee cords %26 a piece from a defunct back brace that I had in the closet. If your rotater cuff is injured or on either side of that surgery, this brace will be of no help. Just break down %26 spend the extra $20 for the real deal.
