Copper Fit Rapid Relief Hip Wrap, Hot/Cold Therapy, Adjustable, Post Surgery, Arthritis

I had a total hip replacement and I purchased two of these to use while I recover and I don't know what I would have done with out them. I was worried that it wouldn't fit because firstly I am a plus size woman and secondly the incision was 25 staples long. It covered the surgical site and then some with no problem at all.

This is an absolute must have for recovery post hip replacement surgery. Easy on and off. It is comfortable and stays in place while walking or physical therapy without feeling restrictive.

The wrap worked great for my recent hip replacement surgery. For best fit you should have a second individual that can help you adjust the straps. I wish the gel didn't freeze so stiff because it is slightly uncomfortable when you first put it on after your wound numbness starts to wear off. But fortunately it doesn't take too long for the gel to soften and form to your leg for comfort. It gives excellent coverage over the surgical area.

One design flaw the the D rings can twist out of alignment

It was perfect at the end of the day to help. When he tried to wear it while exercising or working it did not stay in place, once again, due to his body build. It is very well made and easy to adjust.

the heat dors not last long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is from the same company that makes other copper infused products for knees and other body parts. It is surprisingly bulky and heavy. I’m a good test subject for this because I have both hip and lower back pain. It may have soothed the hip pain a smidge, but the extra weight of it around my waist and hips made my lower back hurt more.

Difficult to try to adjust to my hip.
