CorningWare French White 1.5-quart Oval Casserole with Glass Lid

had one of these for years, broke it and absolutely had to have a replacement. love it, having the handles is a very good thing. received itb on record time.

I broke my 1-quart casserole from Corning years ago and I never found a 1-quart casserole since. So I chose this CorningWare (it's ia 1/1/2 Quart dish) It works just great I am so happy I found it.

Perfect. Bought to replace older, heavier one that had no handles. Liked it so much, bought another the same size and another a size up. Minus one star because the glass lids are thin, especially compared to the ones these replaced. Glad to not have to purchase a whole set of sizes I don't want.

I got the 1 1/12 qt version this time for smaller dishes for less left overs, but next time I'll get the next size up for party planning.

It is difficult to tell in the photo but the lid is VERY thin and has no lip. Alos, the lid does not fit flush on the dish, allowing steam to escape while cooking. This is very low quality for a $25 dish. I would have returned it but I already tore the packaging.

I ordered this on line but it arrived broken. I had to return it to a local Walmart without any problem except the store items did not have the handles which is why I wanted the item in the first place.

Walmart shipped this in a bag with no cushioning. Consequently, it was broken into a thousand pieces by the time it reached my town! I refused the package without even opening it. Walmart needs to train its shipping personnel better.

When I received the 1.5qt. Corningware dish, it was broken (during transit). I went through the process of returning it to a local Walmart (Customer Service Center) and they helped me with starting a return/refund process on my phone app. I took a snapshot of the information stating that I would receive a refund (and the amount), but I haven't received it yet. The date of this process was on December 2, 2024, and it is now January 6, 2025. I returned to the Walmart Customer Service desk two more times trying to get assistance on obtaining the refund, and they were unable to help because it was now stating that it was unreturnable. They were locked out/grey'd out on their computers to do a return. They recommended that I contact the seller through the Walmart app (which I completed on Thursday, December 26th. The message/email I received from Walmart stated that I would hear from the seller within 48 hours...I didn't receive an email or message. I'm frustrated since I have a shattered dish that I cannot use and no refund!

The casserole was poorly packaged in an oversize box, with very little crushed newspaper, no bubble wrap and broke upon transport. I've bought many things from Wal-Mart, but this package, along with another received this week, was so badly treated by the shipping department that both the casserole and its cover were broken when they arrived.

product arrived broken. walmart would not accept the return although the app said to return to store for refund.
