I was looking for some extra paring knives and these worked perfectly
Always in need of a good kitchen knife. I need to replace guite a few since I have many old and some I don't care for blades. I like this one doesn't have any ridges. Use for cutting chicken and such like textures. Appears to be a handy kitchen tool. Time will tell how long it will last. So far I think shots my needs and might appease yours. Worth checking out at least.
This knife is what a paring knife should be. The blade is 3 1/2 inches long, blade goes all the way through the handle which prevents the blade to break. The handle fits perfectly in the hand giving it a good grip. I tested the sharpness by holding a sheet of paper and sliced quickly in half. Excellent indeed!
When I received this Craft Kitchen paring knife I honestly didn't know what to expect. But “Wow”! S I'm cutting it out of the bag I barely ran my finger near the knifes edge and it cut me. This is a good thing because I'm over dull no cutting ability knives. Immediately went to work using this unbearable knife. It sliced chicken breasts, lemons, tomatoes etc.. like butter. Love the handle the complete balance it has while slicing and the sharpness of the blade going through whatever I want to cut with ease. I've had so many knives in my adult life and I must say this is my favorite by far.
The CraftKitchen paring knife is the perfect knife for my family- it honestly gets used every single day. It is a very nice quality and is nice and sharp. It is also very nice-looking. It has a lifetime warranty as well. The only thing I wish was different was that I wish it could go in the dishwasher. I know that technically knives are all supposed to be hand washed anyway, but it would be convenient. This knife says right on the package that it is hand wash only. But the knife is so nice I plan to buy more anyway.
Full tang knife (blade is continuous piece of metal all the way to the end of the handle). This gives it a well balanced feel and makes it more durable. Slices thru lemons, seeds included, as smoothly as butter. I was able to slice my lemons extremely thin with this knife. I can literally get my lemons see thru thin! It is comparable to a knife I bought from my local restaurant supply store.
I didn't realize how bad my old paring knife was until I started using this one. The handle is smooth and comfortable and the blade is sturdy. I can cut through veggies in no time. This has become my go to knife around the kitchen. I will definitely buy more knifes from this manufacturer.
The Craft Kitchen paring knife is a good, basic kitchen utensil. Who doesn't need a paring knife? This particular product has a 3.5 inch blade and the overall length of the knife is 7.5 inches. It seems to be good quality. The blade is sturdy and does not bend. There are three rivets holding the handle in place and the metal runs all the way to the back end of the handle, all in one piece. The package indicates it is constructed of ish carbon no stain steel with a double bevel cutting edge. It's says to hand wash only probably as a safety factor. There is a generous lifetime warranty. It has good balance but, on the downside, I find the handle rather uncomfortable. Now I never did believe in buying those expensive status type knife sets, but those type knives usually have a nice contoured, comfortable handle. Now the Craft Kitchen knife is fine. I'm just sayin it could be better with a contoured handle. I'm sure this knife will give many years of satisfying use.
I have bought 3 different paring knives in the last 6 months. One even had it's own self-sharpening case. None of them have been as sharp as this knife. It fits my hand well and seems to be a sturdy little knife. I'm hoping it holds up well as I like it. It's not as good as my Cutco knife but it's a great little backup for when the Cutco is dirty and I need a paring knife.
This knife looks nice and feels solid and hefty in your hand. It is easy to use and seems to be well made. The edge is nice & sharp out of the box but it doesn't hold its edge well. After a month of steady use, it's already starting to feel less sharp and is losing its edge. It is fine for a very basic knife that you aren't going to use every day but it won't hold up to everyday use.
