Creativity for Kids The Very Hungry Caterpillar Garden Kit - Ages 6+

Instructions are pretty simple , so my 7 and 11 years old could do it on their own. The coolest part , that they are taking care of it on a daily basis and exploring how it grows.

Everything about this garden is so engaging and kept him focused on completing the steps. The little caterpillar is adorable and a perfect addition to this garden. The whole activity was easy for my preschool to follow, once we planted the chia seeds within 2 to 3 days they are beginning to sprout and its so exciting to watch. I would highly recommend this little grow garden to anyone who loves hands on activities and especially Eric Carle.

She was over the moon putting all the stickers on the outside and then went crazy when we starting putting in all the chia seeds, soil and rocks. She’s so excited to see the chia seeds sprout.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super cute plant container- greenhouse. So fun for the kids and it's great to have them put it together and plant the seeds. The seeds had a sell by date of Dec 2025 so hopefully the seeds still grow. I love that this encourages kids to plant and eat healthier foods. Will continue to use this potter for other herbs as well in the future. Great kit for kids!

Everything you need comes in the kit and it was super easy to set up. The apple-shaped terrarium is adorable and the stickers make it even more fun for kids to decorate. The best part is the seeds started sprouting quickly, so my son got excited right away. Now he checks it every day and waters it himself. It's been a great way to teach him responsibility and get him interested in plants and nature. Highly recommend for kids - fun, simple, and a great learning activity!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 year old daughter enjoyed putting this together, but the activity was very short and took no more than 10 minutes to complete. I wish there was something more involved, like being able to pant the caterpillar or make it out of clay. The instructions were easy to follow, though we weren’t sure if we were supposed to use the whole bag of seeds. We were happy when the sprouts starting popping up about 3 days later, and it looks cute in our living room. This would make a good birthday gift - just don’t expect to kill much time with the actual activity. As always, I appreciate receiving this in exchange for my honest feedback.
