Great size. I make a lot of pies with my own homemade crust so I like the large can. It's much cheaper than the small size can, too
I grew up using Crisco. I will not substitute any other brand of vegetable shortening in a recipe! Biscuits are light and fluffy, pie crust flaky, dinner rolls soft.
I love being able to buy crisco in this big of a container. Not to mention its the biggest one in stores and its cheaper. At walmart you get half the size for only 3 dollars less. This is a way better deal. I use crisco to make french fries and they always come out good.
Tried and true Crisco is always in my pantry
Always my favorite for all my cooking
I don't like the price but this has been something I've used a long time and I hope to continue I wise the price would go down a couple of dollars
I ordered a small container of crisco and got 6 lbs. As an 80 year old I will never use all this crisco. I am new at ordering online and do not like getting the higher price and more of the product. I probably will not order online again. There were a few other changes that were different but not as significant as the Crisco. The peaches were so bruised they had to be discarded.
Crisco has always tasted bad and been a necessary evil for making white icing, this ruined 35 ils of icing ! It just turns to mushy grease no matter how much powdered sugar is added! The more you try to spread it the worse it gets melts in the bag as well. Not like normally after holding it for a long time. Environment was 50 degrees. ! They have changed the ingredients apparently! The absolute worst garbage ** ever! Ruined hundreds of dollars of product!
Plastic lid %26 foil seal have been slit with a knife as if cut when the box was opened. Not consumable. Walmart will not refund since I am disabled and can't drive to return it to the store.
No packing. Dented. I bought these to make candles so it doesn't matter too much but if they were for cooking, I'd be upset. I've bought these before and those were packed well. Guess it depends on the people who pack well or pack not at all. You can learn ways to make Crisco candles on Youtube,
