These last a long time, price is right, and the birds love it. Like that they don't melt in the hot weather. Highly recommend them.

The peanut flavor is a hit with all kinds of birds. Right now the woodpeckers are fledging and we get to watch mommies' teaching/feeding the chicks right on our feeders. It also breaks up easier and provides lots of bits for ground feeders. Be ready to buy more as it goes quick!

My wild birds absolutely love the taste of this suet. It was one time when you were out of stock and I bought some others, The birds did not come back to eat it. Eventually the other birds tried it and finished it up. When you finally got it back in stock my birds were ecstatic! It's not mushy like some of the other suits, it holds up in the sun better. It smells better, so we're all happy. It's conveniently priced and affordable for me being an old senior citizen. This suet, once I put it out by the end of the day it's gone.

The only suet cake I feed the wide range of birds in my yard. It is wonderful for attracting blue birds. warblers, woodpeckers, towhees, wrens, and many others. If you enjoy bird watching, I would recommend adding it to your feeding stations. But be prepared to place regular orders of these cakes, because they will disappear quickly.

I've been feeding this suet for backyard birds for about two years now. The birds LOVE it. I decided to search for a better price than the other big online shopping business and Walmart beat all prices significantly. I ordered two of these boxes and they are just like I had hoped - soft and easily spread on the ground if I wish, or placed in a suet cage. Ordering and shipping was a breeze. I try to buy from a variety of businesses when I shop online and I'm so glad I made this purchase from Walmart.

We originally put this suet in a hanging wire feeder for the woodpeckers. We noticed that the Blue Jays, Cardinals and other song birds were also feeding off this peanut suet. We put up a like hanging wire feeder as the Woodpecker would chase the other birds away. Lots of activity and feeding at this peanut suet feeder. Thank you Walmart for such a good price on this suet feeder.

We had bought a very cheap brand of suet, and birds stopped coming to our feeder. They would even land on the feeder and then fly away, like they didn't even like the smell of the cheap suet! I ordered this brand for delivery, and I'm so glad I did. All the birds are back, and they love this suet. We've had mocking birds come to our suet feeder in the past, but only for a short time in the spring. This year, they are coming much more and longer than they have in the past. Plus 2 or 3 different types of woodpeckers, and also a few other birds that usually only eat our sunflower chips. Will stick with this brand from now on as long as it's available!

Birds love these when they are fresh. Unfortunately about half the time they are dried out and hard as a brick. So hard that most birds can't eat them like this, except slowly pecked by some woodpeckers. This was another “dried out” batch that I'll have to return. Looks like the only way to buy these is at the store where you can visually inspect them. However, it's not easy to see through the wrappers and I've bought a few that looked ok but found when opened they were far from fresh.

No zero stars available. Walmart usually has fresh soft suet cakes in the store but our store never has these in stock now. I guess ordering online was a mistake as these were hard as a brick and stale. Birds are not impressed with these. I had already opened a couple before I realized they were bad. Wish I could trust online ordering.
