Cuisinart Brew Central™ 12 Cup Programmable Coffeemaker, DCC-1200P1

I purchased Cuisinart 12 cup coffee machine as a replacement to my broken Cuisinart. In past having gone through coffee pots every six months I took the chance on then a more expensive machine to see if it would last longer. To my surprise it lasted 16 years with using it daily and making average of three pots of coffee. Best tasting coffee to! Self cleaning feature is great as well as auto on and off. I keep my heat setting on medium and very rarely use the 1-4 cup feature. Love this machine and have recommended to my friends. Con: New one has black plastic back when old one was stainless, cheaper look. Cheaper to make I guess.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third version of this coffee maker over the last 20+ years. I have home offices for over 25 years and start my day around 0500-0530 most mornings so it brews at least 1 pot a day on average, every day. It's not fancy, has clean looks, and well made. I just can't justify going to anything else. It simply excels at making a pot of coffee.

I absolutely love my new coffee pot! I really feel it has brewed the best coffee I've ever made! Well constructed and easy to clean and has so many functions there is nothing else you could ask for! Definitely recommend it!

I bought the coffee maker last month. This is my third DCC 2000 coffee maker. I bought it because I have had such good luck with the previous two. For my family it makes great coffee.

I love this coffeemaker my coffee tastes 100% better than the inexpensive coffeemaker I was using previously. And now I'm only using half the amount of coffee grinds. I'm super impressed with the machine. It's stylish and I like the options of keeping the plate at a high level of heat and I can choose to brew 1 to 4 cups. I can seriously taste the coffee now. I really didn't know what I was missing before.

We have owned this model before, and it performed well. We bought the replacement, since the other one burnt out, after 8+ years.

After 14 years of daily service our Cuisinart model DCC-1200P developed a small leak. We immediately ordered a n identical replacement.

The most reliable coffee maker, I've ever owned. This is now our second unit. First one lasted ten years. Only the switch failed, hot plate etc continued to work.

Pretty much set up as every other coffee maker in regards to programming, etc. I've had Cuisinarts in the past and they've always been very reliable. I got this one to replace a Cuisinart that was over 10 years old and the coffee pot was starting to separate from the plastic. I wish Cuisinart would include a new feature for the beeping of the coffee on all models. This model has a toggle on/off switch, which makes it very easy to turn on and off. The only con, is when you open up to empty the coffee grinds the water drips down the back of the coffee pot

Great coffee maker. Only one complaint: the water level indicator is only visible by looking down into the water reservoir from directly above which is awkward and very difficult to see in the dark depths of black plastic walled chamber.
