Great pan!
We love our new stainless steel skillet!! It's our first time trying stainless steel and we love the quality of this one! The handle allows for a nice, comfortable grip. And the included lid was a major selling point too.

High quality skillet
My husband and I have been switching away from nonstick pans due to their lack of durability and health concerns. This is a beautiful skillet made of heavy material. For those used to nonstick, just remember that stainless steel requires less heat to cook. You shouldn't have to heat higher than medium to get a good sear. If you remember this then many of the woes of stainless steel (food sticking to pan, difficulty cleaning, etc.) are null. The one exception is eggs, which is probably better left for nonstick.

Light weight and beautiful
This pan is non-stick and very light weight. The lid fits perfectly. It washes up beautifully.

This is a very good 12 inch skillet but the pictures look like it had more of a vertical side on it than I thought so it couldn't hold as much food as I thought possible like for the whole family but it worked really well as a 12 inch skillet

I like Cuisinart products, but for some reason their frying pans are not what they used to be, if your heat is higher than the pans like, they discolor on the frying surface, not sure if it's what they use to construct the pan with the aluminum plate on the bottom. I also have an electric stove now whereas I always had natural gas.

Excellent and so easy to use! After years of over temperaturing non-stick pans and destroying them on anything above Med heat. this was a welcome change. Scrambling eggs is difficult but high temp everthing else from steaks to veggies is great. I'm never going back to NonStock pans

Not the same quality as before
We've owned a stellar stainless steel Cuisinart set for over 13 years and hoped to add this pan to the collection. Quality has deteriorated, and even with following all instructions, food stuck and was a mess. Returned.
