Cuisinart 12 Cup Programmable Single-Serve Brewer, Black, SS-12

I love this coffee pot!! My husband makes a pot of coffee every day. Some days I like to have a different flavor……that's where the single serve comes in handy. Also, when we have company they can bring their favorite flavor with them. My grandchildren love to get hot water to make hot chocolate. We all love this machine.

While i usually only make 4 cups, it is great to be able to serve a group and use the 12 cup capacity. The Kcup feature is wonderful when you just want a quick cup for one! I have used it to brew tea as well. Such a versatile machine! I was surprised the filter is cone shaped but other than that it makes the same great coffee i expect from Cuisinart.

Overall I really like this coffee maker, but it would be nice to have some features from stand alone coffee makers. For example, the pods side of this machine doesn't have a water level or indicator that water is low. Also, I would be nice to make coffee in both sides at the same time.

This is my second one. First one lasted about 7 years. The spitting problem for the single serve is no longer there. They fixed that problem. It's still a little hard to pour water in the main reservoir but not bad. Overall it works good.

I do love getting awake with a pod of coffee, then if I want more….am then awake to make it. Only issue I have is the lid of tank on pod side does not close completely.

The brew side is good but the single cup side doesn't hold very much water and needs a sight glass to see the level. Also on the single cup side there is a hole in the back and when you fill it too full it runs out all over the counter? Strange design.

Very versatile, makes great coffee. Pluses: reservoir for K-cups holds 3-4 cups of water, carafe and K-cups brew quickly, simple operation. Minuses: no way of knowing K-cup reservoir level until it is empty, lighted buttons are so bright that they are unreadable, cover for the carafe is barely latched ( doubtful if it will stay on after months of use), funnel for K-cup not attached sturdily.

We've had this coffeemaker for two months and the heater plate paint has all peeled off. We take meticulous care of our “stuff” so we were surprised. Also not enamored that there is no way to measure how much water is in the pod chamber.

Again, disappointed and taking it back. Burner is already rusting and underneath the pot my counter has rust on it. This is our 3rd maker with the coffee pot and Keurig next to it. we've tried all the styles and still disappointed. We're going to have to move onto another brand. We are very disappointing because we love the convenience of a coffee pot and the Keurig in one maker

Instructions are improper. Single Brew light does not turn on and it takes too much time to program to the type of brew you select. Single brew would not turn on this morning. I have only used the carafe once and the single brew like 5 times. It takes way too long.
