I recently purchased this can opener, because my hand-operated can opener needed to be replaced. Because of arthritis in my hand, I decided to get an electric can opener. I'm extremely happy with my stainless Cuisinart can opener purchase. Works great and is beautiful too!
Best can opener I have ever owned and in my 70 years, I've owned many. This one I can tell will last me my life time and can't thank you enough for developing this master piece of an electric can opener.
Does a great job opening can , looks great sitting on my counter. I have lots of Cuisinart electric appliances in my kitchen, I know they stand behind their products.
I've been struggling for years with the hand can openers. I decided to purchase the Cuisinart electric. It opens cans so easily with just a touch. No more struggling with those hard to open cans.
Easy to use and works as intended. Also like that it is tall and slender so it looks sleek and takes up very little counter space. Have purchased Cuisinart products before and have always been satisfied with their products.
I kept using a difficult can opener. My daughter took note of my struggle. She gifted me the Cuisinart can opener. I love it! Easy-to-use and looks great!
This is the best electric can opener I've ever purchased. It is slimmer than most, easy to clean and it does not leave metal shards; like my last one!
PROS: The Cuisinart Stainless Steel model can opener is very STURDY. The weight of the stainless steel provides great stability. The unit will not tip over. The cutter blade and handle is stainless steel and provides a god balance when opening a can. (Very unlike the plastic can openers with plastic handles.) This is the best can opener we have had in many decades. Cons: The cord needs to be LONGER. The cord is 32 1/2 inches in length fully extended including the plug. The Plug in its entirety (Casing and prongs is 2” in length. The cord is NOT RETRACTABLE. The unit could be a little taller to accommodate cans beyond the 28oz size height. The Cuisinart stainless steel can opener is very pricey. A better price point for consumers would be $39.99. Still expensive but better than $59.99 and up depending upon where it is sold. . OVERALL CONSENSUS: Buy the Cuisinart Stainless Steel can opener now before more tariffs go into effect. Accepting the cons, we are pleased with the unit and recommend it.
I was very disappointed with this electric can opener. It struggles to grip cans properly and often won't open the lid completely. It also does not work well on smaller cans, which makes it very inconvenient for everyday use. I purchased this expecting a quick and easy way to open cans, but instead it has been frustrating and unreliable. For the price, I expected much better performance. Unfortunately, this was a waste of my money, and I would not recommend it to others looking for a dependable electric can opener.
This can opener is broken. There are so many things wrong with it, I don't know where to begin. Blade won't go into can lid. Pin on left came out. It drops cans when it finally decides to stop and the cans spill all over! After releasing can and lever rests, the switch stays on. I thought Cuisinart was upscale...yeah...that's a bunch of crap...and so is their can opener! Could I just get a can opener that lasts longer than 6 months before it breaks?!?
