Cuisinart PerfecTemp Cordless Electric Kettle with Preset Temperature Controls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am thrilled with my Cuisinart electric kettle. It has all the features that are important to me. Foremost, I wanted a kettle with push button start and individual buttons for the 6 preset temperatures. It's important for me to feel and hear the mechanical motion of a button. Also the 360 degree rotating base allows me to turn the kettle in any direction without having to lift it up. This kettle heats a little more than 7 cups of water which is fantastic and heats the water to a boil relatively fast. Also it has a wide spout that lets me easily pour hot water without worrying about dribbles. Just by looking at the kettle and then lifting it you can tell it's durable. It has all the features you expect from an electric kettle with the added features of push button controls. To me touch screens and water are not a good mix. Lastly the cord is sufficiently long with a heavy duty gauge.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this for a little over 3 months. We bought it because we are going thru a compete kitchen renovation. My wife drinks a lot of tea. Without a stove that would have been impossible. She was a little leery about it but as luck would have it, it turned out to be the best purchase ever. It heats up the water in very little time. I would say actually less time than her original tea pot on the stove top. It works perfectly. Looks great on the counter top.

Excellent product and highly recommended. This was a replacement for an identical unit purchased 6 years ago, which was used everyday - big tea drinker! Started leaking about a month ago so needed to replace. Trust the brand, unit works well so far - expecting same results as the 2020 unit!

The kettle's programmable control settings light up on the handle to ensure you are able view your desired setting. The kettle is a wonderful addition to my kitchen counter with its sleek design.

Perfect. except the top has a part obstruction that limits using most sizes of tea infusers except small ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love using our new kettle with the different preset temp settings so we can choose it for green tea, oolong, coffee, etc. It is an upgrade from our old kettle that stopped working. I like having the option to keep warm. We have it for a couple months now and my main complaint is that the lid no longer opens fully for refilling water. I need to use my hand to pull it open. Not sure if it's a design issue or our unit only. We use our pot daily for coffee and tea. Also, please be aware the kettle is hot to the touch as it's not insulated. Will still buy it for a reputable brand.

I refill my tea several times each morning, having to turn it back on a couple of times. This all happens within 1 hour. It should have a "keep warm" or "hold" button. Other than that, it works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very convenient for making French press coffee. Quicker then a stovetop kettle and easy to read how much water you're putting in. Only complaint is it's noisier then expected, but all in all, good product and would recommend.

We love this kettle. It heats to the right temp. Easy to use and care for. We have soft water here so there is no scale build-up on items like this. I don't know of any similar product that has all its features. Over several years we have purchased three of them However - two of these have failed due to temp control issues. The first, years ago, was due to a failure to be able to set the temp reliably. I purchased a second, which still works and I gave it to one of my kids. The third, still under warranty, got set to 185 degrees, but was found to be boiling away out of control. I unplugged it and when it was plugged in once more in a few minutes it worked fine. But it couldn't be trusted for the future. Fortunately, Cuisinart was very responsive and sent a new one once we sent a photo of the clipped electric cord, confirming we had disabled the defective one. I praise Cuisinart for standing behind its products and handling things promptly and courteously. So now we have a fourth unit. Stay tuned.

This tea kettle was highly rated by various sources. This is our 2nd Perfect Temp Cordless. The lid on the older one started getting stuck and then wouldn't open. it was out of warrantly. Repair video on YouTube was helpful but would take a whole weekend to disassemble diagnose and mend if at all possible. So the first pot still works great it is 4 years old. But lid won't open, so will wind up in a landfill. Not the greatest review but what can I do?
