we enjoyed it, fair priced good with rice.
Very aromatic!
tried and like it...
good stuff
This Curry Powder from Dubble is made in India and contains cumin, coriander, red pepper, turmeric, clove, ginger, onion powder, fenugreek, nutmeg, celery, bay leaf, and black pepper. Each curry powder has its unique blend, and this one delivers plenty of flavor without being overly spicy! We regularly prepare red lentil dal that calls for curry powder, and it tastes delightful in it. Highly recommend!
The Curry Powder comes in a generous 8-ounce plastic container with a shaker-top lid. This is a fragrant sweat of spices with rich color and flavor. I used this to make our favorite chicken curry recipe, and the outcome was flavorful with mild heat. Overall, this is a quality curry powder and an excellent staple for my spice shelf.
As someone new to the use and flavor of curry, I lack a solid basis for comparison with other brands. I?ve tried using it lightly on several foods, and the powder has been fine. I have yet to use it in a recipe specifically calling for curry, though.
I have purchased many seasoning powders from this brand, and nearly all of them are quality products. This curry powder is fresh and has a lovely aroma. The 8-ounce jar lasts quite a while and is only ten bucks. The curry powder makes my vegetable curry extremely tasty, and I can?t wait to try other recipes with it.
Good curry flavor.
Dubble O Brand Curry Powder, 8 oz. This product is kosher, halal, gluten-free, and non-GMO. It?s distributed from Washington. I?m unsure where the individual spices are sourced, but it indicates it?s a product of India. The expiration date is 12/26. As usual, the Dubble O brand hasn?t disappointed me. This curry powder arrived in great shape with an inner seal and seems fresh. In terms of taste, it?s average?not bad, but not spectacular. It?s very cumin-focused, as most curries tend to be. This is potent and should last a long time. Yes, I would recommend this brand.
