S&B Golden Curry Mild Japanese Curry Mix, 3.2 oz, 1 count Box

I serve this even to people that have never had curry and gotten rave reviews. I usually use carrots (that I have rough sliced and precooked) bell peppers and/or green peppers and onion. Occasionally cauliflower (small florets) I saute the vegetables separately. If I use tofu, I slice and pan-grill that separately as well. Chicken I dice and follow package directions. I add the veggies (and tofu) back in the pan right before the sauce is done. I like to keep the flavours of the veggies separate so each bite tastes a bit different. I have used mild and medium spice. I serve over white or brown rice and for me cauliflower rice. Hardest part s making sure the sauce cubes are dissolved. So much easier then making your own curry from scratch. I love this product

I love these cubes. I use them in my mac and cheese recipe mostly. They're easy to use and add a flavor kick without spiciness. Some of my family can't handle spicy at all, and these are great to add the taste without anyone complaining that it's "too hot". Will continue to purchase.

Excellent mild Japanese Curry Mix! It comes in a giant 3.2 oz bar that can be separated into 5 serving size bars. The bar is semi soft/firm. I'm on a low sodium diet, so I'm using this curry mix as a everyday seasoning. I'm able to scoop out just a pinch amount to saute my vegetables, season my noodles, sauces, meats, tagine dishes, pot roasts, etc. It mixes instantly into any liquid or just oil in the frying pan. You immediately smell a wonderful curry smell in the air and the flavor is amazing; it takes my dishes to another level that I didn't think was possible on a low sodium diet. Please note: once you open the curry mix bar package that it will need to stay refrigerated. I keep the curry mix bars in it's plastic container inside a ziplock bag and it does stay fresh for a very long time for future uses. I love this curry mix and I will continue to buy it as long as they continue to make it!

By far one of my favorite dishes, great with any meat and veggie combo. Just add the cubes sooner than they recommend to ensure they dissolve properly. Excellent taste and smell

I had a recipe for ground beef and curry using a box of these bricks. It was absolutely delicious. I made it with, onion, carrots, green peas and potatoes. It was SPECTACULAR!!

If you like curry you'll love this. easy to use, just add a bit of butter or water, melt a cube of curry into a sauce and pour it over any dish you like. Great curry taste, not too spicy.

This product tastes great. There isn't much heat to it but a lot of flavors. I have used it in curry as well as cheese sauce and vegetables. A good twist to the same old dish.

I didn't realize the size and packaging of the product was so different from what I've purchased on person in grocery stores. The taste was the same, very tasty.

Purchased for a specific recipe. So, I'm no expert on curries so I can't tell you how this compares to other brands but the cubed blocks are convenient. The recipe turned out as it was supposed to but some time has passed since I made it and honestly ... it was unremarkable and not something I felt the need to repeat. That said I have enough of this block left over to try something different and use this product up.

Slightly above average. Failed to impress with curry flavor, but certainly a more pure and fresh product. I use a whole box but I tend to make bigger batches. Melts well, must be kept refrigerated which assures of quality and less ingredients. 4 Stars.
