Datrex 125ml Emergency Survival Water Pouch, 64 Pack

I love the size and longevity of these water pouches, and keep a small bag of them in my car for emergencies. The bags don't break down, even in the Texas heat.

Much more expensive than normal bottled water but designed for long term emergency storage without needing to think much about rotation. I just tried my previous batch that I bought this to replace, which has been stored in near ideal conditions (low humidity basement that always stayed around 70 degrees) for 10 years (twice the advertised shelf life, which is based on the packaging, not the water), and it still seemed perfectly fine. You're not getting 10 years with regular plastic bottles. So definitely seems to work for long term storage.

Easy to carry and convenient. would definitely recommend this product to have for emergencies or camping.

The box was very flimsy, one of the pouches was damaged and leaked out. The pouches have a 5-year shelf life however, the ones I received have 4.5 years of shelf life remaining. We plan to keep these in small coolers in our vehicles for emergencies. We used to rotate plastic water bottles but were always worried about BPA chemicals from the plastic especially in the summer with higher temperatures. These may be the best option to keep water stored in vehicles for a few years without needing to rotate.

The product is good; however, the shipping is not suitable for rough handling. Two of the four boxes showed obvious signs of rough handling and damage. In addition, the boxes were leaking water (the product purchased) and damp.

I received these survival water pouches and the shipping box they came in was soaked through and falling apart. Thus the reason for 3 ⭐️. There were 7 water pouches that were completely empty.. I did not send product back because that would be more work than not. I purchased water pouches for survival/natural disaster backpack. They are exactly as described, but I wouldn't purchase online again because of the damages the product incurred.
