These Del Monte green beans are a reliable pantry staple that I keep coming back to. The flavor is fresh and mild, and the texture is tender without being overly mushy—exactly what you want from canned vegetables. They're super convenient—just heat and serve, or add to recipes like casseroles, soups, or quick side dishes. The 4-pack is great value and perfect for keeping on hand for busy days when you need something quick but still want a vegetable option. Overall, dependable quality, good taste, and very convenient—definitely recommend!
When the season for fresh green beans is a several months away, there's a go-to for you. Del Monte's green beans taste fresh, bright and delicious with your favorite seasoning. I love their green beans. To me they are second to %231, fresh. Of course you have to have cornbread to go with green beans. For quick cornbread I use Jiffy Honey cornbread. My Mom's cornbread was great, but she never measured ingredients. We have experimented over the years and I think we finally nailed it. She used buttermilk. If you have not tried Del Monte, but I'm pretty sure you have, you know it's a gold medal winner!
Del Monte Fresh Cut Green Beans with Sea Salt, Canned Vegetables, 14.5oz Cans comes in a (4 pack) also single cans to, has a long shelf life, is easy to heat up in a microwave or on a conventional stove top. You can even spiff them up with a little additives if you like. Del Monte Fresh Cut Green Bean With Sea Salt tastes great, you can also make a bean casserole with them. Serving size 1/2 Cup(121g). About 3 1/2 servings per container, undrained (1/2cup) 20 calories, drained (about 1/3cup) 15 calories.
I like these cut green beans. To me they have more flavor than the French Style, which have a flavor all their own. A tip I learned that worked for me and it takes these green beans to the next level. And that is, let the liquid cook completely out of these beans before you serve them. You don't have to turn it on high and scorch them, just let them do their thing and in the end you will be rewarded with the best tasting green beans ever.
One of my favorite vegetables is green beans can't go wrong when you get a 4-pack of Del Monte green beans. This is the best route to take when preparing for your family.
Del Monte green beans are a reliable brand that I have used for 50 years. I like the four pack because that allows me to store in my pantry, so I have back up always available.
I grew up on these green beans and I still love them. I also love that we can buy in bulk. Thank you and God bless. 24/7 FREE GTNTV.com
OK, these are canned green beans… But, they're pretty darn good canned green beans. I like to drain them and heat them up in the microwave with a lot of butter and lemon pepper salt. Makes a decent side dish on a night where I don't feel like cooking two different things. Hubby loves these. Sometimes when I am gone for dinner, he will just eat a couple of cans of these with butter and the lemon pepper salt.
A good option when I am in a pinch for time to snack on, make as a side dish, or be fancy and incorporate them into a yummy casserole. Most of the time a great texture. We do prefer their salt free. We get these when they aren't available.
Oh how I hate crushed cans, these look like they've been run over by a TRUCK. Well I'll be honest only half of them look that bad, the other half looks to just have fallen off a tall counter on to a concrete floor. When cans are crushed 1st the protective inner coating cracks %26 flakes off, what do you think happens to those pieces? 2nd exposes the food to the tin can, just what it's meant to protect against. That exposer also makes the food taste tinny, just like the tin can itself. The product is good if the handlers don't destroy it before you get it! My new motto start refusing crushed cans, I don't think that would be unreasonable.
