Del Monte Very Cherry Mixed Fruit in Extra Light Syrup, Canned Fruit, 15 oz Can

I love the convenience of the ”mixed” fruit in one can. Perfect for the quick preparation with Jello Gelatin that has recipe suggestions on the or box. The fruit is fresh %26 beautiful. Thank you everyone at Del Monte %26 Wal-Mart for making “kitchen fix'in” FUN again. 👍🫶🙋‍♀️

this was very delicious school that has extra cherries in it so I added two releases smaller cans with two big cans of fruit cocktails with fresh strawberries fresh pineapples and we wanted delicious Fruit Salad for the week for work it was delicious

Remember when we added a (well drained) can of fruit cocktail to the almost set cherry or strawberry jello in the fridge? Then later, top it with whipped cream, or not. Enjoy a nice cool dessert.

I liked this, I like the extra cherries I did rinse it really well with cold water hoping it decreased the sugar content. It was pretty good except the grapes, most of the grapes looked nasty they had a lot of brown markings like they were not fresh when they were canned. I picked out several of the grapes and threw them away. The rest of it was really good. I couldn't give it 5 stars because 1/4 of the can is juice. I think if I had pushed down on the cover harder to get out more juice it probably would have went down half way but then a lot of the fruit would have been crushed still at least 1/4 of the can is filled with juice. That doesn't make me feel good that I'm paying for so much volume that's just going down the drain. I did enjoy the rest, I like to mix a half package of powdered drink mix with half a container of whipped topping and add this to it. It's delicious and I can get 3 portions out of that. I also like eating this straight out of a bowl with cinnamon. Overall It's a winner for me.

my husband used it to make goody goody salad I liked the extra cherry but wish there was less or no pears but that is a personal taste preference my husband loved it.

Not as good as it use to be less cherries then they were before and still tastes great but the quality of fruit is not like old times there were still seed particles on the pears and fruit was not as crunchy as before can eat as snack

I always liked the DelMonte brand as a kid. The last few times I've purchased the “very cherry” version of their mixed fruit was disappointing. They use mostly diced pears and peaches with maybe 3 or 4 maraschino cherries, each one quartered into four tiny pieces. The condition of the rest of the fruit seemed to be hard and not very sweet, like the core of the whole fruit. I will be researching different brands of mixed fruit now because I like canned fruit as a rule but the quality of this “very cherry” blend leaves a lot to be desired.

I have bought this over at least 8 years and I have seriously noticed there is more and more fluid with less fruit. Also the fruit is being picked and packaged unripe. Therefore it has less vitamin content and tastes gritty and not even like fruit.

Not much juice, so if you're a person that lights a lot of juice, I wouldn't pick it, but for my grandchildren, it doesn't care about the juice and other grown-ups because the fruit is delicious. Then, yes, but I just like a lot of juice, it has a good amount of cherries.That's why I picked it
