My wife and I are in our mid-seventies and bought these to install into our 3 bathroom bathing areas, including use as towel holders. We feel much more secure, having these to grab and hang onto rather than a flimsy plastic towel holder. We have an excellent handyman who made sure that they were secured to studs in the wall to provide a very stable handhold. I would highly recommend that younger people consider them as falls respect no age group!

Exactly as described; fast shipping; and the only issue I have is the fact the oversized parcel was not delivered to my house; 5th at end of paved drive, but at 2nd house forcing me to not only look for and locate my parcel but traverse uneven grassy terrain with a walker as I'm disabled and then getting it into my house when I believe the delivery companies are supposed to leave the parcel at or near my door and makes me hesitant to order anything online because it's always a hastle.

Simple install, super heavy-duty and textured without feeling abrasive to the touch...hard to ask for much more than that. The washers work as templates if you want to mark holes for pre-drilling, but self-tapping screws into studs made this job go quick and smooth. Feels extremely stable and reliable...I suspect you could put over 350lbs of force on this thing without worry...provided you hit studs with both sides.

We replaced the towel bar with this to help my aging parents between bathroom toilet and shower. It works great for towels and pulling them up and stabilizing.

I'm glad I purchased these grab bars,they make getting in/out of the tub so much safer.Wish I had done it years ago.They are securely installed with "wing its",very sturdy bond to the wall.

Very sturdy, easy to install. I absolutely love them. They are so helpful. I bought these to install near my outside steps. I definitely recommend them.

After my mom broke two toilet tanks with a 5 finger death punch, I decided to put in a no slip bathroom rug and a grab bar. Worth its weight in gold.

Grab bar itself seems OK. I knocked a star off because the item claims to be 12" long, but is really almost 15" long. I needed one less than 13" overall and feel deceived by the website description, which you can see in the attached screenshot. The 12" dimension is center to center of the tube as it contacts the wall, which is useless from an installation perspective. The website should have a drawing that shows the ACTUAL dimensions.

Dislike because mounting holes do not take into account that studs are verticle and are 2x4's. Therefor, the area for mounting the bar is only 1 3/4 inches wide. The mounting flange should provide 2 verticle screw holes to assure that 2 screws will hit a stud. Otherwise, it is a good quality bar.
