I've recently gone through the house, garage and cars replacing all the old-style incandescent flashlights with LED ones for the longer battery life, greater sturdiness, and essentially infinite bulb life. There's a 180/190-lumen 4-AA Dorcy that I like for the long beam it throws but for walking the dog, trick-or-treating, camping in a tent, or a room during a power failure, that's really too much light. This 32-lumen light is great for anything within 10-30 feet and lasts 20 hours. I've got smaller, lighter weight LED lights for backpacking, but for throwing in a glove box or tool box, this is a nice size and brightness. Even better for a canoe or fishing trip, because it is waterproof. To be clear - it isn't a dive light and I wouldn't intentionally submerge it. But if the bottom of the boat was wet or it fell in the lake, you could grab it (it's bright and it floats) and it would be fine. Another plus: it uses AA batteries which are cheaper and last twice as long as the smaller AAA batteries. I don't need my around-the-house flashlights to be tiny - I want them to be affordable. Pro-tip for those of us who have sub-zero weather in Winter: Get one and load it with lithium batteries - they work well below 0F, unlike alkaline batteries. If you've got a flat tire or dead battery at -15F you really want your flashlight to work! In my household, all such lights are purple so it easy to distinguish them. Pro-tip#2: I don't keep the instructions and packaging, so I write the relevant info on the outside of the flashlight in laundry marker, "32 lumens, 20 hours" in this case.
I was really surprised at how bright this flashlight is. It feels like it was made to fit my hand. A great value for the price.
Light weight, nice grip fits. Great little flashlight!
I absolutely love this cute little Floating Waterproof Flashlight. I was surprised how much light it puts out. I plan on buying my daughter one in the near future.
I like this very much, haven't had it long enough to judge battery life yet. It's very comfortable to use, fits right in my hand. i love that 'clasp' feature on the handle, I'm hoping when my great grandson comes to visit he can't unhook it and make me go searching for it when I need it lol
was easy to get out of pkg - install included batteries. i've only turned it on once to test-is really great bright efriendly light. flashlight grips better than the old plastic kind. little smlr than in pic but nice sized flashlight. purple w/black outlines is cool.
I bought these flashlights to use as in bed reading lights for my grandaughters. They loved the color and are perfect to use for this purpose. Easy to turn on and bright enough to read by.
unfortunately this was stolen right out of my place before i even opened it but giving them benefit of the doubt
To hard to open to left. Had to ask maintenance man to turn it open. Otherwise it's bright. I brought this cause of storms blacking the power. Color purple is nice color with black. Turn on took a minute to work it as rubber is soft but it works well.
I had 3 people working on it...never did get it to work.
