I made pies with this product! They turned out very good! I would definitely recommend them! Good flavor, good texture, the right amount of spices. Very good! Lots of apples! Good flavor! Firm apples but not hard or soggy! I would buy it again!

delicious and great value for price

I like this kind way better than the country one. There's a lot more cinnamon and fruit and a little bit less gel. People have complained about brown apples, well duh, they have been soaking in a lot of cinnamon-delicious!!! And I haven't found all the pieces of peel and whatever in these cans like the regular ones. That is definitely a plus!

Plenty of apple slices and very good flavor

I know how you get 'more apple'. The cores are included. I found two in a can of apples. And yes, I know what a core looks like. There were also peeling in it and the apple slices were all over the place in sizes.

Shocked to find a rather large stem in my apple pie filling. I did not save my recipe or can and the garbage man already came this morning so I can not retrieve them. I guess I'm am just letting your company know. I had always considered wilderness the best canned fruit pie filling. I don't think I will by it again as this happened 4 years ago with the cherry pie filling and my brother bit into 3 cherry pits in his slice of cherry pie. Thank you, Janell Green.

Every couple of bites, you get what seems like it could be tiny pieces of plastic. At first I looked up recalls on this product because I was certain it was plastic. Turns out it's just pieces of the apple core or pieces of hardened apple skins. Technically it's edible, but these pieces definitely ruin every other bite. I've never tried this filling before but I will never try it again. Steer clear of this brand or just make your own filling. I tried to submit a video so you can see how crunchy and hard these pieces are, but it would only let me submit a photo.

I bought two cans of the apple pie filling for a bread pudding recipe. The flavor profile is tolerable, but there were so many pieces of core that the bread pudding is pretty much inedible. They're small enough that you don't notice it until you bite down, but its like eating plastic shreds. Absolutely do not recommend. I threw out half a pan of bread pudding because every serving ended up with core pieces. We found one seed, I'm actually impressed there was only one seed. Also, the sizing of the slices is terrible. Had an actual half of an apple just plop out of the can, never expected I would have to dice pre-made apple pie filling.
