Durham's 1-Pound Rock Hard Water Putty

Excellent puddy. To apply I cut a shim in half to the size about 1/2 in width to about 4" long and use as a spatula on one end, the other I used to scoop the power. I stroked in one direction to apply puddy, other than back and forth. Dries quick if 1/4" of puddy is applied. My job was 8' long, lot of rot removed. Be sure to remove any particles that could get in the way after you've prepped work. I used a vacuum. And I used 1 can.

I especially like that you mix to your desired consistency. no measuring. clear, understandable instructions.

This is what the guy that works for me uses and swears by.

Easy to use. Dries hard. Vary the consistency from flowing to firm depending on project. Unlimited shelf life since you mix as needed versus products in a tube. Have been using for years.

I had a broken clay vase, glued what pieces I had ,but left a hole. Put Durham putty on it . Let it dry sanded it and painted it can't even tell it was broken.

This stuff is amazing and super easy to work with. Filled two giant holes in entry doors that used to have mortise locks in them. Filled great, and drilled just as well for new locks

This is great for many different, permanent repairs. If used properly, it makes a stronger repair than the actual item you are repairing. You can add 'water' based stain to it to match wood. Once dry, you can drill, and anchor screws in it. I used it for anchoring wrought iron handrails.

I've used this for years and love it. It lasts a looong time. Add water a little at a time. Doesn't take much!
