Dynasty Sliced Bamboo Shoots, BPA Free, Allergy-Friendly, 8 oz Can

So Willa and I went on a Thai cooking binge after going to a new place in town called Wok This Way which is mostly Chinese cooking but also has Thai dishes like Thai Curry with Chicken but in there they put these title strips of stuff called bamboo shoots which you would think would be tough to eat with fiber and all and I remember seeing a news report on the tv that showed panda bears eating bamboo and brother, that never looked appetizing to me, let me tell you! But these here bamboo shoots are a nice surprise, a little bit chewy and a little bit crunchy and you can order em on Walmart and they'll deliver em right to your door. But then you have to get the rest of the ingredients for your Thai curry and find a good recipe. You can really have fun learning to cook Thai food if you try and the results will be good. Maybe not as good as Wok This Way but they really know what they're doin down there.

I buy these more because of nostalgia than any other reason. These was a staple ingredient in homemade Chinese food my mom made. Although they are still used in many restaurant dishes, for me it is just the mental upbringing that they belong in homemade Chinese food. They taste awesome. Provide a nice variety to the veggies and have a nice added texture.

I haven't used the bamboo shoots from this order yet! But, I use Dynasty bamboo shoots very often and this brand has never disappointed me ... I love throwing in a can of them into a stir fry I am cooking to add a bit of crunch and well deserved fiber!

Great product for some Asian dishes I've discovered. I especially like it for the Hot and Sour Soup recipe I use often. Excellent in all aspects!!!

Perfect product to add to stir fry, curries, salads

Great quality and perfect flavor. I use them in my stir fry and have always been pleased. The can is quite tiny for the price though, which is the only thing that keeps me from buying them more often.

I ordered two bamboo shoots and got one water chestnuts... what a joke. I'm done with Walmart on-line and their stores!

ordered 6 canned bamboo shoot, but half of them were water chestnuts. i can understand they really look similar outside, but pay attention to what you are sending. I'm not going to return or ask for a refund because i can use them, but I'm not a happy customer here.

I was missing this item in my order
