Dyson V7 Advanced Cordless Vacuum Cleaner | Silver | New

This is my second Dyson cordless vacuum. My first one (purchased years ago) still works beautifully. I loved it so much, I talked my sister and my stepdaughter into buying one. I decided to get another one for upstairs so I can do my "Dyson Dancing" on both floors easily!

I replaced a V6 with a V7. Not much of any differences. I can not break the bank account to get a different one. In my mind, they are crazy expensive. Why not have a on/off switch that stays on, rather than squeezing constantly to keep it running. How about a light on the cleaning head? Yes, I do like the Dyson, but can not afford one that is not on sale, or just the cheapest one they make. PLUS I lost seven month on my warranty. I put in 12/5/24 for purchase date and the sight changed it to 5/12/24. I did it twice, thinking it was my error. NO. The sight changed it.

No charging dock. I bought Dyson *specifically* versus cheaper brands because they show a dock in lots of advertisements. I was shocked it wasnt included since I did my best to verify before buying. I did keep it, but cranky that I had to buy the dock separately.

Long time Dyson user. I am very disappointed with the battery life for the V7 Advanced model. Lasted a surprisingly short amount of time before it died. I didn't believe it so next time i ran it, i used a stopwatch to see how long it really lasts. I got 6 minutes 30 seconds of use. Everything else is great, I just feel let down by the short battery.

I bought this to replace my prior Dyson. This does not work nearly as well as my prior model. I would not suggest paying for a Dyson, as the quality of the product has gone down significantly. Also, it is not compatible with attachments from prior version that were not included in this version, and i used the prior attachment shown.

I bought this for my son and there was no attachment that allows you to hang up the vacuum. Without hanging up vacuum there is a good potential of it falling and breaking as this vacuum is not sturdy on its own

The battery dies with in 30 minutes. The battery does not detach to charge, the whole base has to charge. You have to hold down the button constantly to have it run which after a while make my and cramp. Overall I am disappointed with my purchase. It really worth all the hype of a Dyson vacuum. I feel like I have other vacuums that work better.

Doesn't last but two rooms don't like that you have to hold the butt in the whole time which I signed up for it so my bad and the canisters small and then there is no crevice tool included

I brought this vacuum a couple of weeks ago; battery sucks it dies within 20 mins of using it (breaks in between cleaning). It has to be plugged in at all times. Do not recommend. EXPENSIVE for no reason.

I was very excited to purchase this vacuum cleaner given the reputation of Dyson. I unboxed the vacuum and started charging it. 15 hours later it sill will not charge fully and when I tried to run on max power it stopped, tried on a carpet it stopped Needless to say this is now just become a hassle that I have to return this item and look for a new vacuum. Stay away from this vacuum, not worth it.
