The pick up is so strong! I have 3 cats and it picks up fur and litter with ease and the no tangle vacuum head is actually no tangle! The battery life is amazing. I was also happy with all the attachments it comes with too. I'm obsessed with the hand tool that I can use to vacuum cat beds, couches, and condos.
You know youre an adult when you get super excited for a vacuum! Ive always wanted a Dyson but couldnt justify the price. Getting this one refurbished, on sale, and using some random gift cards, it was the perfect time. I read a lot of reviews mentioning the short time that its on max suction (like it only lasts 7-8 minutes), but you really dont need that unless you have something more difficult to pick up. Make sure you change it to regular right out of the box. The vacuum works so well! I got added accessories from Amazon and it fits perfectly on the wall going into the basement.
Just got a refurb V8 Animal and on first use it is great. Light weight easy peasy. Getting the trap door opened to empty the dirt was a bit tricky before looking at the pictures in the booklet so take a look first. used on regular setting for 30 minutes and still plenty of battery life left. picks up same or more as heavy conventional with cord and that is so much more effort. So far I am very happy - next time I will try the stronger setting
Got this Refurbished D-V8, when i received it there's some lack of parts of it but due to shipping history it might fell in some cases so by all means i contacted the Dyson company and mention about what i only received and some missing parts so they sent me that missing parts(they are very fast to reply) but the only question in my mind is Refurbished is a big different with the used item, WHY did i say "USED"? because when i received this unit i notice the Head motorized is very dirty and it's been used already but i don't mind the most important is the quality of what you expected and it didn't fell my expectation and worth it. (easy to clean and they fix my issue).
This is my second Dyson V8 Animal Cordless Vacuum. This one has some features that my old one lacked. I like having two suction options: 1) The High Suction option offers a longer run time and runs more quietly; 2) the Max Suction option is available when the job demands extra cleaning power. The other thing I like about this vacuum is how easy it is to empty.
Loooovvveee this vacuum! I have a husky shepherd mix, Maltese and two cats. This has changed my cleaning game. Will never ever go back to any other product for getting debris off the floors.
Just got this in today so haven't used it much yet. I can say I did my whole house (hardwoods) upstairs and downstairs with just the garge it had upon delivery (less than half) and it did it all! It also sucked up more dirt than I could ever thought could be in a house. So far I am very impressed.
Just as the title says, not terrible and not great. When you pay this much for a vacuum, the expectation is that it works really well. It's okay. It picks up like it's supposed to, it's light, it's cordless and quiet, but the container is small and with two dogs (one being a husky) I am emptying the container every 10 minutes. I went ahead and paid around the same for a Shark and am happy with the Shark, especially because it has the larger container. Good vacuum for a small home or apartment without pets.
It has not worked right since I purchased it. The main body was replaced by Dyson and now I am awaiting a battery replacement. It will not suck for more than 30 seconds on Max. Disappointed overall!
I am only providing a one-star because unfortunately, I cannot test the product. This item was shipped to me without a charging cable. Which pretty much makes the item useless. When I phoned the number provided by Dyson in the shipment I was told to search the box again. After a very long wait time (greater than 10 mins) I was told that I would have to call Walmart as it is not Dysons concern. I have messaged Dyson per the contact seller link on the Walmart website. Should there be no resolution to this I will be shipping the product back. At this point, I really have nothing good to say about Dyson's assistance.
