Great value, not too salty!

L November 20, 2025

These are a great value! I like this brand because they are not too salty (as some brands can be). I throw these in salads and eat them for a healthy, protein packed snack. I grew up on lupini beans; my older Italian relatives would snack on these and nuts, not chips or popcorn ☺️. Just make sure you don't eat the way shell, lolol.

Yummy snack

Michelle January 19, 2026

This was the first time I tried lupini beans. I was looking for a tasty "finger" snack like edamame and read about these in a recipe book. I purchased three different brands, all claiming to have different spices in the marination. these were good! firm-not mushy and very tasty. They are however, not as easy to eat- at least I have not found removing the skin easy yet.

These beans are an excellent source of protein. They make a great snack if you roast them in an oven or air frier. Just rinse off the brine and dry them lay them in a single layer and spray with oil lightly then roast. Toss hot beans with your favorite powdered spices and salt. Low calorie, low carb and very filling. They are the best!!!!!!!!!

Great source of protein, vitamins and minerals!

B January 27, 2026

This have a slight briny, maybe even pickled taste which I was not expecting. They are incredibly salty to me, so I rinse them before eating and it helps a little. These little guys are very filling and our full of essential vitamins and minerals, not to mention protein!

one of the better Lupini bean brands out there

anonymous July 2, 2025

walmart is giving me $5 for this review but i'd say the same if they weren't - - these taste the closest to the kind we had when i was a child (80's) - sometimes you'll get a super fresh batch (a little hard) and we just put them in the back of the fridge for a week or so after being opened, and they soften right up to how they're supposed to be — they last 6 months opened, we've never had them last longer to test further - would recommend to anyone who likes lupini beans — price didn't go up much after the t@rr1fs which is a good sign ? These beans were creamy and mild on flavor. I drained them and roasted them in the oven with olive oil and seasoning, and they turned out crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Great price for the size and it was packaged well so it didn't get damaged during delivery.

Taste of home

Jill December 15, 2025

I'm from Italian family up in Wisconsin and my grandma used to make Lupini beans every year. I don't get them here in Texas so I ordered these online and they remind me of Home. I love them..

Worth trying!

m2girls June 29, 2026

My first time trying these and I wasn't sure at first but I keep going back for more so they're growing on me. The texture, and a bit of the taste reminds me of garbanzo beans, tho these are “pickled” so slightly different. They're high in protein so a very easy snack and would even compliment charcuterie.

High Protein Chickpea chik'n salad substitute

Liz July 14, 2026

Used these in place of chickpeas to make a vegan chickpea chick'n salad with higher protein. It was very good! A little harder than chickpeas, but I used them straight from the jar. Next time I will cook them down. When eaten alone, the flavor is similar to lima beans.

Arrived leaking.

anonymous May 27, 2025

Unfortunately do not order this for shipment. I love lupine beans and this is a good value except the jar arrived with the seal broken. And the only option was to return to a store. Seems odd for a food product and I had already disposed of the rotten beans when I looked up how to report the damage.
