I have ongoing struggles with Iron levels and bariatric surgery, this has been a life saver. Doesn't cause stomach upset and my levels went up pretty steady and has held. I use a dbl dose but I would follow the directions or talk to a doctor to do any different.

Dr suggested 280mg of Iron daily -ha. Two weeks in, and working up to two doses morning and evening, i am dealing with explosive diarrhea. To be fair, this is the 4th brand I've tried, all with the same results. She's going to have to come up with a different game plan, because my body obviously doesn't like this current plan.
