These curtains are made of a Heavy fabric great quality very soft material pretty design and colors. I took close up of fabric so you can see colors and design clearly. The original listing is too far away to see design and colors clearly so I wanted you to see it. Remember your lighting may saturate or lighten the original fabric colors depending on your home & lighting . These curtains black out sunlight perfectly. Needs secure rod curtains are heavy weighted.
These blackout panels are just what I needed. They are soft, the perfect length, 63” long and I especially like that there is no filter of light that comes through!
I like how light the curtains were and how it blocks most of the outside light! However, I don't think it the black color blocks out as much light as the dark blue navy color. I still think they aren't 100% good at blocking the sunlight outside, I would say around 89%. As one of the room I had the black curtains on that one window, also I had a regular white color window shade on that window already plus this black curtains on top of that window shade, and there still is around 10% or so of light left. So I would recommend using two of these blackout curtains or using a blackout window shade plus the curtains for any baby rooms you have. Especially if you have a picky toddler who won't sleep if theres any light in the room. However, the price is pretty good. Can't complain. Since I've seen other curtains just for one panel around this price or even more just for one panel. So this is a good deal, I recommend!
This pair of room darkening curtain panels definitely did eliminate most of the light coming into the room. The curtain fabric is substantial and heavy in weight. I liked that they went up easily on a standard curtain rod. They are also easy care. Wash in cold water on gentle cycle, tumble dry, low. The pair in the pics are 37”x63”. This pair of panels came in a “sea” blue color which is nice.
I love these curtains, but they definitely should not be advertised as 100% blackout. They let more light in than my room darkening ones from the same brand.
Eclipse absoluteZero 100% BLACKOUT Phoenix Axel/Wheat curtains with Rod pocket. Each panel measures 37" X 84" and you get two with a combined width of 74". These panels are a soft smooth material. 100% polyester with triple Thermaweave for energy savings. After opening package I threw them in my dryer on steam wrinkle out to remove fold lines. They were easy to hang on my old standard rod and on my 3/4" round rod. They hang so beautifully and the colors are neutral to match my walls. However they are not completely 100% blackout in the sun but they darken the room well. I will need another set for my wider window. Recommend highly! Made in China.
Real is my favorite color, so these will go great with my decor. Heavy weight, unlined curtains. Easy to install with any rod. I would have like these to be the tab or hole insertion as opposed to pocket, but I could easily convert them. Nice quality material.
I have an allergy to the sun, and the eclipse phoenix solid blackout curtains are not true blackout curtains. They are more room darkening than solid blackout. I have spent so much money on buying "blackout curtains" that it's becoming ridiculous. Like these, they always say, "solid black out or 100% blackout/privacy" and they turn out not to be as advertised! These, like others are more sheer than they tell you. I can say that these are not as sheer as the mainstay curtains, but they are about 15%-20% sheer and still see through. Ugh, so disappointed! Pic for reference. On a good note, these are very nice, heavy, soft and look great but not at all "blackout or privacy" curtains. Do better Eclipse, as I had high hopes.
these are not blackout curtains, they are regular curtains with black fabric on one side. a lot of light gets thru them. not to mention the fabric quality is trash. really wish i could get my money back on the two sets. I had to alter them for my windows and it was a nightmare. i feel bad for whoever makes these, hope its a machine.
For being 100% true blackout, they are way too thin. The sun isn’t even shining on that side of the house yet.
