This might be used in a lava lamp. I just don't know about such things. This is for bug lights. There is a warm glow on the porch when lights are on. Use in a workspace would I assume be inside. Beam? Not for aliens that I know of. They prefer upwards of 15,000 candlepower.

I like the price of the bulbs, the appearance looks like a quality bulb and the bulbs work as advertised. I am very pleased. The delivery was efficient and quick. The bulb had bright but warm glow causing me to change out my other bulbs for these.

I leave my outdoor lights on all night so these new bulbs allow me to leave the switch on all the time knowing the "on at dusk and off at dawn" bulbs will go off in the morning. I don't have to flip the switch at all. This gives me security and saves energy as well.

Arrived early by two days. They work great!! The light isn't blinding like some I've gotten at the store that were white LED. These are easier on your eyes while still lighting up the front of your house. They come on before dark and go off at dawn, are dusk to dawn bulbs and has a dual sensor serves as bug light as well. Energy saving uses 9 Watts and is equivalent to 60 Watts.

The material delaminated separation at the part that's goes around the head . One piece of material would be better.or better glue holding the layers of different material to make the band

Easy to install with bulb facing upwards or down. Leave the light switch on and you're all set. No more having to remember to cut outside lights on or off. Not too bright, but doesn't deter bugs as much as I hoped. Perhaps I need a lower wattage. Great convenience.

Fabulous invention to have the sensor in the bulb. Especially if renting and any lighting outside does not have dusk to dawn feature.

These weren't the bulbs I ordered like the pic above. They're supposed to be “outdoor bug lights” but it doesn't say that anywhere on the package that was sent to me. That same package doesn't show that they are for the outside either. But what I ordered showed them to be “outdoor bug lights”. I like that they're dusk til dawn %26 come on when it gets dark out. Hopefully they'll be ok for outdoor use.

These are not bug lights! I think they attract bugs better than a white light does. The first night I use them, I have 100 dead bugs inside the light fixture. because they are yellow I thought they would not attract insects. I was wrong. Don't buy these if you expect them to work like bug lights.
